A usual guarantee is for 12 months. I suppose you could extend this if you want to pay extra.

Where can you buy replacement blades

Sorry Mark, I have no idea as I bought one of these myself and have not had to replace the blades. I can only recommend contacting Draper directly or take it to your local Lawn Mower service shop as they will know.

Will it shred long, and narrow palm tree fonds?

Providing that you do not try to place too many into the feeder simultaneously it should work fine. I try to put a mixture of twigs/branches with greenery and after two years on so, mine is working fine. I have not put palm fronds through, but it believe that the central stalk with be ideal for this shredder to render down.
