The media could not be loaded. I have a pretty shy BSH kitten and she has been extremely fussy with toys. Seems to prefer shoes and shoe laces over the usual cat toys - she’s not fond of any jingly noises either. Desperate to save my furniture, legs and plants from being destroyed by my very bored kitten I have decided to order this as the price was very reasonable. I was very eager try this bad boy out after seeing many good reviews. I popped some batteries in and I set it up.… my kitten was not impressed. It was moving and making funny sounds. No thank you. I was pretty disappointed but figured I’ll keep it out and see if she at least starts playing with it when it’s off. Every now and then I would sit next to it and knock the butterfly with my hand to get her interested, she would occasionally sniff it and acknowledge it but not much else. Every now and then I would switch it on just to get her used to the sounds as well. And to my surprise - on day 3 of playing with this thing by myself - she started trying to smack the butterfly as it was flying past. 30 mins later and the video I’ve uploaded is the final result. She is obsessed with it and it has literally been 30 minutes of non stop butterfly catching!I am so happy with this result! This British shorthair kitten of mine has been like the most uninterested stubborn child at the zoo where nothing interest her and I’ve been dancing around like a fairy trying to keep her occupied for weeks. So glad to be able to go for a wee in peace for once whilst she obsessively chases this. I think I will buy another one!

This is good value for your money quite solid the whole thing butterfly’s etc are really lovely my older cats look now and again going Google eyed as it goes around the younger cat really loved the butterfly and movement of going up and down in the wire .But he gets a bit bored it keeps going Back to it .. over all very value..

I brought this for my cat tinkerbell for her first birthday,And it's the best toy I've ever brought for her, she absolutely love's it,She has battered it, bite it, pulled it, and it's still going strong,All that's happened is where she grabs the butterfly and pulls it down to bite it the wire has slightly bent down, but it hasn't interfered with the toy or it's function,It's packaged in it's own box and came in a standard Amazon box,The butterflys are packed individually on its wire in cellophane, it comes with two,You just click and push the butterflys in at the top of the toy, push the button at the front and away it goes,It's really easy to assemble,It takes 4 AA batteries, which are inserted at the bottom of the toy with a screw function to open and close,It comes with a small screwdriver so you don't have to go on a hunt for one,I would definitely recommend this toy,When tinkerbell is full of energy and needs stimulating i just put this on and she goes crazy,I've put a video up so you can see it working, and pictures,

My cat is obsessed with this toy, plays with it for hours, however it only lasts 5 minutes as the butterfly is made out of paper so he just ripped it apart. It does come with 2 butterflies but he was through both of them within 2 weeks.

Has a lot of play value. Quite a lifelike behaviour when freely rotating or caught by paws.Using three ENELOOP 1.5v rechargeable batteries, a charge lasts a long time.Usually hide the toy after a session to retain some novelty value. The cat will often later clamour for attention until the toy is produced, once we work through the process of elimination to find what she is after.Proves to be safe and resilient in use, even when stalled by a grip of death.

At first our kitten loved this but became very distressed when her claw got caught in the spring. She dragged the whole toy around trying to free herself. It took quite a while to free her so do beware

Vey pleased with this. Solid base and charged with batteries rather than a charger. Cats love it.
