Bought for use at home and in a professional kitchen
Awesome knife and very reasonably priced. Had the knife for a few months now and it stays sharp for a VERY long time. I'm not rough with my knives by any means but I do use them a lot. Daily at work and at home and this one has become my go to because I know it's always going to be ready to get straight down to business. Handle and blade feel great but obviously that is going to all come down to preference. I have pretty big hands and the knife is very comfortable and doesn't make me feel fatigued even after prep. Every now and then a female co-worker that has ligament damage in her hands will use the knife too and uses it no problem even though she sometimes struggles with chef knives. So it must be balanced well for all shapes and sizes. Overall, whether for home or work use I don't think you can go wrong with this one. If you're a home cook it will make you feel like you've levelled up and at work will give you that security that you've always got the reliable work horse to fall back on.

Beautiful!
To quote that great orator, Crocodile Dundee; "That's a knife!". This is a fantastic knife. One of the best I've used. Fits in my hand perfectly. Really well-balanced, and is super, super sharp. You definitely know you're holding something really well-made and top-quality. Would definitely recommend it.

Genuinely deserving of the term 'professional'.
Simply a joy to use. It's a very traditional knife, with a good, heavy weight, but it is perfectly balanced. I have average sized hands and it is very comfortable to hold and use. It's also quite amazingly sharp - sharper than most razors you will find in supermarkets! A knife that will last decades if well cared for.

Good weight, not sharpness.
Great weight and hold but not as sharp as I'd hoped it to be.

Really good multi-purpose knife for home use
I’ve bought various knives over the years and this is the one I always go back to. Nicely balanced and can do a whole meal with just this one knife. Steel is good , but not too hard - so you get a good balance between edge retention and ease of sharpening. For the home user - this is a perfect multi-purpose knife.

Bought as a gift
I got no complaints after gifting to my brother! So, hope he is satisfied.

Decent Knife But Handle Guard Makes Sharpening Difficult.
This appears to be a good quality mid price range chef knife for the £79 i paid. Quite well balanced. It came with a very sharp edge altho did start to dull after a month's usage. There are some drawbacks. Firstly the knife did not come with a sheaf to help protect it when being stored. I had to buy one. Secondly the ridge of the bolster at the base of the knife makes it difficult to sharpen on a stone. The raised ridge rubs on the stone when you angle it low & move the blade across to sharpen the blade. Also the blade will scratch & scuff quite easily.
