Works on plane edges, paper covered edges not so good. Plus can't get new blades anywhere. Have used tool about 40 times and still working well. I have changed from 3 to a 4 star rating would be five if you could get blades! The joints I have completed were filled with B and Q Make good jointing and filling compound and sanded down and look fab. No cracks yet!

Great tool, one pull does the job. And no need for use of scrim tape which always stand out

It's solid tool. Like all Wolfcraft tools. That's why I gave 2 stars. Unfortunately it uses non standard blades. Normal utility knife blades won't fit. Blades used here are smaller and have hole punched in the middle. And it doesn't look like you can buy them anywhere. So once supplied blades are blund (and it will happen quickly) item will be unusable. Making it really expensive tool that can only be used few times. Quite why Wolfcraft haven't designed item that uses standard utility blades we'll never know. Can't say how well it works as returned mine without using.

Una herramienta imprescindible para trabajar pladur. Es ergonómica y al tener varias cuchillas va cortando progresivamente el filo de la placa que luego se queda biselada para que pueda penetrar bien la masilla y quede una unión perfecta.

I think this is a great dry wall tool. The main issue, which I did not think about, replacement blades are expensive and difficult to find. American utility blades to not work.

Der Wolfcraft Fasenhobel ist ein sehr praktisches Werkzeug für den Trockenbau. Er liegt gut in der Hand, ist leicht und dennoch stabil verarbeitet. Die Klingen sind scharf und ermöglichen es, Gipskartonplatten mit nur einem Zug sauber zu fasen. Dadurch schließen die Platten sauber aneinander, was beim späteren Verspachteln viel Zeit spart. Besonders hilfreich ist die Führung: Der Hobel bleibt sicher auf der Plattenkante, sodass die Fase gleichmäßig und im richtigen Winkel (35°) entsteht. Geeignet ist er für Standardstärken von 9,5 mm und 12,5 mm – perfekt für die gängigsten Rigipsplatten. Ich habe mehrere Räume damit vorbereitet und der Unterschied ist deutlich: Die Kanten sind glatter und die Fugen wirken nach dem Spachteln deutlich sauberer. Einmal eingestellt, arbeitet man sehr effizient, ohne Nacharbeiten mit Cutter oder Raspel. Praxistipp: Nach einigen Metern Arbeit lohnt es sich, den Hobel kurz von Staub zu befreien, damit die Klingen dauerhaft sauber schneiden. Ersatzklingen sind erhältlich und lassen sich einfach austauschen. Fazit: Unverzichtbares Hilfsmittel für jeden Heimwerker im Trockenbau. Spart Zeit, sorgt für saubere Ergebnisse und ist leicht zu bedienen – klare Empfehlung.
