Not sure what sheerness & thickness relate to on such an item so I left them blank! What can I say it arrived the next day after ordering - plugged it in and boom! I have two monitors running - brilliant for allowing MS Teams online lessons (I’m a teacher) have my lesson presentation up and running on the main screen that everyone can see and then have the room controls and register on the second screen - has made my life 100% easier as a result. Just be careful when trying to remove the connector to your graphics card - there is a release tab you have to press on top of the display port plug otherwise it is not possible to remove! Good product

Okay so a lot of people will not understand analog and digital signal conversion. This is a DVI-I output, which means that some people will want to connect it to a DVI-I to VGA cable, chances are (unless you have a miracle) that this will not work, because the signal has already been converted to a different digital signal, so it won't convert this into analog for your VGA. If you connecting it to a digital display cable you should be fine. So in short you're fine unless your trying to connect it to a VGA cable. Just thought I'd save people any hassle in a world were tech is like learning a new language.

Great little device, needed it when I upgraded the graphics card, as it did not have a dvi output. System working great.

These were a great price for a bunch of them compared to our normal supplier. No issues with connectivity and easy installation. Only thing is the logo is way too big would have been nice to keep it simple luckily it won't be seen 🤣

I used this with a Wacom cintiq 22HD to connect to a new graphic card upgrade I got and it worked perfectly!

Been using it for the last several years. I forget when I bought it. No issues yet. Still plugged in.

Kvalitétskänslan finns där men fungerade inte för mig, får ingen bild av någon anledning när jag kopplade från datorns grafikkort DP uttag till skärmens DVI men den syns i NVIDIAs kontrollpanel.... väldigt märkligt vet ju att det är INTE är en dubbelriktad omvandlare och kan inte överföra signaler från DVI till DisplayPort... frågan är då är min gamla Benq monitor i behov av dubbelriktig omvandlare om nu sådant finns, önskar man kunde få kommentarer/svar här på frågan om de hela.

Der Adapter-Stecker diente dazu, einen etwas neueren MiniPC mit Display-Port an einen älteren Monitor anzuschließen, der nur DVI-Ports bietet. Es gibt für mich bei diesem Artikel nicht mehr zu bewerten als: Eingesteckt, funktioniert. Stecker tut, was er soll.
