Great set for a great price! (£20)
Excellent product, quality of the bricks is close to Lego! One of their bigger sets, some what clear instructions, It helps knowing what gyarados looks like! Very poseable! 5*

A very well constructed set
I bought this for my girlfriend for her birthday last month as she is a big Pokémon fan and enjoys creative things. I completely surprised her with it and she loved it - we were both really impressed with the quality of the set and pieces even though it was reasonably difficult to construct (took us a good few hours). Very pleased with the result though and we're looking at the other sets now

Great on display
Loved this. Fun to build and looks great on display. The instructions were complicated and not straightforward, but that adds to the challenge.

Good value but not perfect
According to our 11 year old: "Quite flexible and nice build but some of the horns fall off/are quite fragile so 4 stars"

Grandson loves this figure for his game
Bought for grandson for Xmas. Paid extra because everywhere else was sold out at the time. Seams a lot of money for what it is. But apparently he is going to love it. Contents of box feels very light.

Good, but falls short of Lego quality
My 8 year old and I enjoyed making this - he loves anything Pokemon. It looks good, is a decent size, and is suitably challenging, yet achievable to build. He also got a genuine lego dragon for Christmas and the difference in sturdiness is miles apart. Once built, he can pick up and play with the Lego model. With the Gyrados, you only need to go near the thing and bits fall off it. It's hard to balance to stand up in the pose on the box, and once achieved (after sticking back together again all the bits that came off as you tried to stop it falling over and breaking), it kind of makes him reluctant to play with it.He's asking if we can go down the "Kragle" route (superglue), leaving just the articulated joints free. Talking of the articulated joints... Most are firm enough, but just a couple of them are a bit loose, which mean the model can have an occasional tendency to sag when you've put it in a pose. So, it's a fun build, ticks all the Pokemon boxes, but you get what you pay for and it falls a bit short of Lego standards. But then again, we did kind of guess that would be the case before buying and we bought it anyway. I don't think we'd say we'd never buy this brand again, because they offer models that Lego don't do... But, if we do, we'll do so with slightly lower expectations than if we were buying Lego branded models.
