This item arrived pretty quickly and was very securely packaged. I loved that they surrounded the bottle to make sure it didn’t break during shipping. I used it in my hot and sour soup and it added a nice flavor to the soup. The price wasn’t too bad either. I look forward to using it again and again.I would recommend this vinegar for anyone looking for a good Chinese vinegar for their recipes.

Oh My, my first taste of this aged vinegar brought me right back to my trip in China eating dumplings. Incredible stuff. This will now be a staple in my pantry.

Love different vinegars on my salads and this is great.

Used the product for food

I’ve never used black Chinese vinegar however, I added a tbs to my homemade hot chili at the recommendation that it helps preserve the hot chili oil a little bit longer..I didn’t have an over powering taste of vinegar like you would think with your typical vinegar..It seemed like it preserved the hot chili oil longer but I also haven’t tried making a batch without so I’m unsure if it does that.. the other thing is I’m not sure if it alter the taste of the hot chili oil either since I’ve not made a batch without it

I rarely use this but when I do, it is the very best. It's worth spending a few pennies more for a better quality product.

Very strongly flavored, not what I was expecting. I found it unpleasant and likely will never use it. I have a collection of over 15 types of vinegars I love and thought to add this one but it's a regret as I can't stand the intense and robust flavor. It's unfortunate it cannot be returned since it will go to waste unsure how long it will last after opening. Maybe I can pass it on.
