Expedition Shock XL Men's 50mm Resin Strap Watch

I bought as a football coaching watch for timing games and drills. I only wear it one day a week because I usually don't wear a watch but its easy to read and functions well. I bought this because of its vibration function so I can be silently reminded when each part of my session should end without an annoying beeper going off every 5 mins. I then get to keep to time but it doesn't get in the way. Love the large clear easy to read face.

I wanted a waterproof watch at an affordable price by a good make. This Timex watch delivers on this so far. I’ve tested it under water and it seems fine. It has water resistance up to 200 metres/20 bar so should be good for most things, shower, bath, sauna, swimming, hot tub, scuba diving and gym etc, however it is not a certified diver’s watch. The round face is a good nod to the traditional and looks good. The strap is very comfortable and locks together well and is very secure. The only down side is that the display is not as bright as I would have liked but it can be illuminated by pressing a button on the right hand side. The set and mode buttons on the left can sometimes be inadvertently pressed when worn with layered clothing. But otherwise the expedition watch is a good solid outdoor digital watch and reasonably easy to set up.

If you get this with the negative display, be prepared for minimal visibility in certain light levels. You can see well in direct sunlight or very well lit rooms, and good night time light when in the dark. It is pretty large though, more so than I thought it would be. Its comfortable, and ive made good use of the occasion function and alarm function. The vibration alarm is pretty useful, especially if you need to wake up without disturbing others. Ive only had this a few days, so long term durability is still to be seen.

Large face, needed for old eyes, digital display could be much brighter. Ok. Maybe over priced.

Just the sort of watch i needed. Big face, large clock numbers and a backlight to help in the dark. Can read this without my glasses. Easy to set time / date which is all i need.

Great watch

Great watch (build/quality) but I found it really hard to read in any light. To be fair I am not 21 anymore.

This is a great watch at a great price with a two year guarantee. It’s easy to set up and easy to use. I like the multi-functions including the vibration function for when you want a reminder but don’t want to disturb others.

Senz'altro siamo di fronte ad un orologio che dal punto di vista qualitá/prezzo non teme rivali. La possibilitá di poter decidere quali funzioni, tra le tante, visualizzare é eccezionale. Il poter posizionare ben tre sveglie e decidere se farle suonare i giorni feriali, i giorni del fine settimana o tutti i giorni é eccezionale. La possibilitá di ricordarci un infinitá di eventi e poter scegliere una suoneria diversa a seconda del tipo di evento é eccezionale. É molto robusto, ha una gran bella cassa, ha una stupenda luce notturna. É un ottimo orologio e per l'allenamento ha anche la funzione che, se impostata, di segnala ogni quanto bere, per alcuni può essere utlissima. Lo consiglio senza ombra di dubbio.

Like the watch. Still going strong. Very robust. Has a nice date reminder for key dates.
