Great book for kids beginning to read chapter books. My 7 year old daughter has been reading it every night & loves it.

This is a great beginner chapter book. My son gets overwhelmed by lots of words on a page and this has been a good stepping stone for us. The words are large print and there’s lots of pictures. The stories are really sweet too.

My little boys have come to love these books. We have reread them about 3 times now. They are pretty simple but captivating for a young mind. They are easy to read and I find it enjoyable to snuggle in with a “Chapter” book with my kids.

This is the perfect story for little kids who are learning to read. It is clean without insults and although Bo sometimes doesn't do what he is supposed to, he learns from his mistakes. I loved the way it is written. We get inside Bo's mind as he explores the farm and new experiences with the other animals and humans much like a kid would. What I found interesting is the fact the Bo learns something new in each book. A lot of things about friendship, honesty, empathy, hard work, kindness..things that you want to teach your kids but it is very organic. The drawings are 🥰 ADORABLE and the stories are sweet and gentle. Definitely, get the WHOLE series for your kid to read. I would say first grade and forward. Kids who are learning to read might take longer and kids in 3 grade might think this is easy but they will still love the story and illustrations. My kid is in first grade and he reads one chapter a day as part of this English class. We have the whole collection so I have The Good Dog for a while 👍🏼
