Perfect for me but not lightweight
I love this case. Always had fintie cases for Oasis and never had an issue. Hard wearing and protects in all the right places my new one for the Scribe is the same standard of quality. Yes it's heavy but I don't bother about weight at least I know it's protecting my new toy as best as it can. I have a stand cushion for my Scribe so don't need to worry about weight. Magnet closure sleep wake works perfectly.

First impressions are good!!!
This is a nice case for the price! I have a Fintie case on my Oasis which is why I went for it. Overall first impressions are good the build quality is great, I’m not a massive fan of the pen solution or magnets being exposed as they may work lose but only time will tell. The sleep wake function works fine and yes it does add a little bulk but that’s the trade off for this level of protection. The case does cover all sides so your scribe is fully protected. As it stands I like it and I think it’s a great buy for the price but ultimately only time will tell how it holds up!

Offers great protection, but heavy
As with most Fintie cases I have purchased over the years for my Kindles, they offer great protection, are well made and very competitively priced. It's hard to find fault with this case, it offers fantastic protection, very sturdy and well made. BUT sadly it's simply too heavy for hand holding whilst reading (I mean really heavy!). If you are doing a lot travelling / commuting with your Scribe, this case offers truly superb protection. But if you are just using your Scribe for reading around the house, you'll most likely find this case a little heavy and fatiguing.

A SMART, QUALITY PRODUCT
I only use my Scribe for reading. The cover fits perfectly and is very secure. For me an essential feature of this product is that closing the cover shuts the eBook down, then returns to the same place on opening. Very slim, quality material, looks good in the green finish.

Heavy yet fragile
The case has been falling apart for weeks already and I've not had it very long. The magnets that close it came out, so I glued those back in, only for the plastic housing next to the magnets to break off next. The case is very heavy, though also seems quite sturdy as a result, its just a shame the production quality is so low that its breaking up.

Great alternative to the Amazon one!
Great cost effective case option for the Scribe over the Amazon one. The Amazon branded case.is twice the price and also doesn't open like a book (more a flip pad). This case makes the Scribe feel more like a book, which for me was just what I wanted. I personally don't think it adds any significant depth to the device when the case is folded either - I still find note taking comfortable, with the height increase all. Attaches firmly to the device and uses magnets to secure the cover. Only time will tell how.robust the spine and material face are, but I've no reason to doubt it. Highly recommended.

Heavy and poorly made
This Kindle Scribe cover is heavy and poorly made. The cover weighs 380gr (11.5 oz) .The magnets fell out because the plastic cracked. Interestingly, my previous Kindle Oasis case from Fintie also had this defect. Both only lasted a few months of use only at home!!! Really! I regret this purchase and do not recommend it!

I love this case. It’s sleek looking, holds the pen, protects the screen and is lightweight. Glad I bought this.

I purchased two of these Fintie Slimshell Cases—one for my 10.2" Kindle Scribe (2022 release) and another for the 2024 release. This case fits both versions perfectly, with a snug and secure hold. The "Composition Book" design is a clever touch, and I appreciate how it disguises my Kindle as an ordinary notebook. It’s a great way to avoid drawing attention while out in public. The auto wake/sleep function is incredibly convenient. Opening the case instantly wakes up the Kindle, and closing it puts it to sleep, saving battery life effortlessly. Despite its slim and lightweight profile, this case provides excellent protection. I've accidentally dropped my Kindle a couple of times, and it has remained fully functional—no scratches or damage, which speaks to the case's durability. While the Kindle Scribe has a magnetic mount for the pen, I prefer using the built-in pen holder on this case. The pen fits snugly, making it less likely to get lost. The quality of the materials is impressive; the case feels premium and well-made. It offers great value for the price and is an essential accessory for any Kindle Scribe owner. Highly recommended for anyone seeking style, practicality, and reliable protection!

I used to have the trust to Fintie products. Value for money. But not this time. Initially, all good, very esthetic case and it is has the loop of the pen separately on top, not embedded into plastic case. Although, magnets quickly losen up. They fall off the place where they are placed. And after carrying Kindle in the work backpack, I used to find magnets sticking to cover, on top. At the end, I lost one. Then, plastic quality... I don't pull out Kindle form the case. I don't throw it on anything hard. But, it somehow breaks! It breaks on the corners, edges. Like the tension of the kindle placement makes the plastic weak with the time? I bought the case in May 2024, it is broken by January 2025.
