Good service, good game. As seen =) Unfortunately the 1st one I received was missing some bits but without any fuss I was sent a new one out in the post straight away of reporting the problem, I've sent back the original one I received. Look forward to playing a few games =)

FAB strategy game for 2 player - Played it non-stop for a week it was so goooood!

A fairly quick 2 player strategy game in which players have to control as many islands as possible after three scoring rounds. Very simple game to get the hang of, however it would take many plays to become adept at all the little strategies in order to continually win. There is a fair bit of luck involved as to what cards you hold or turn up on your turn, but mostly it comes down to planning moves ahead. A good game but not one I'd often be reaching for off the shelf.

Excellent two-player strategy game. Reasonably easy and quick to learn, game time good as lasts between 25 mins and 1 hour so not too long. Very good quality pieces and board

The perfect mixture between simplicity and complexity. This game is so easy to get in to but has plenty of forward thinking depth, making every turn count. I rank this alongside chess as tactical 2 player games go.

A strategy game that makes your brain work harder - perfect for those who like chess or computer programming. Uses the same muscles.

This is a reasonably short game to play involving only 2 people. It's fun, the rules are very easy to learn and the variation in the game is enough to keep you coming back again and again. Simply one of the best 2 person games I've ever played.

My 10-yo daughter and I are both avid gamers; my wife, not so much. Daughter and I enjoy lots of games together that 2 can play - Monopoly, Skip Bo, Set, Battleship, and the like - and we "make do" with other games (like Munchkin) where we use stuffed animals as other players (and play FOR them, natch). I was looking for a good strategy game for ONLY two and happened upon this over the holidays. It's a deceptively simple game: play cards to build (or destroy) bridges between islands, with three scoring rounds; generally, the person who controls the most islands at the end of the game is the winner. LOTS of strategy involved, though, so the game is a good teacher for more advanced things like Axis & Allies. Overall it's quite fun and addictive, with each game taking around 30 - 40 minutes. I like the size, also: as a "square-box" game, it's about half the size of Trivial Pursuit or Catan, which makes it rather easy to transport.
