I won't buy any other hairspray. This holds my hair in place and easily brushes out at the end of the day and smells fantastic. It's great value for money!

I usually use Silvikrin Hairspray, as it's hard to find another brand that has a 'Normal Hold' in it's range. I recently bought another well-known brand out of desperation, only to find it was 'Freeze Hold'. If any poor soul had actually wanted to run his fingers through my hair (if only!), we'd have ended up calling out the Fire Brigade to cut him free from my hair. Thankfully this L'Oreal Hairspray is perfect for me and does leave your hair beautifully shiny. It's not sticky, brushes out well, smells lovely....and the Fire Brigade can breathe a sigh of relief ;-)

Holds style easy to brush out and not stiff

I have recently tried several hairsprays and have found L’Oréal Elnett shine, normal hold the best. Plus points are :- (1) It keeps your hair in place, (2) your hair isn’t stiff, sticky or crunchy, (3) you don’t need to wash your hair to remove the hold, it just brushes out, (4) reasonably priced. Minus points are:- (1) It smells HORRIBLE! It’s smell takes me back years to when I went to the hairdressers with my mother when she was getting her hair done. I remembered rows of ladies sitting under hood hairdryers, plus I remember a horrible acrid hairspray smell. Just discovered that L’Oréal’s Colour treated UV filter hairspray has a scent of ‘berries, citrus & sandalwood’ - I’ll try that next time.

Worth the extra cost of other lacquers
