Great seaweed!
Great and affordable seaweed! It grows as expected 3 to 4 times (see pictures), nice chunks and with the right saltiness. When using it, keep in mind it's made of 20% salt.

A great seaweed
This dried seaweed is easy to use and full of flavour. It reconstitutes to useable seaweed after about 10 minutes of soaking and then the water you have soaked it in should be disposed of and the seaweed rinsed to remove excess salt. After this, fantastic to stir fry with or for any other use in cooking. You only have to use very small amounts as it significantly swells - so great value for money and an important healthy addition to your diet.

It's a really good quality product, smelling and tasting the best. Good packaging which you can seal. I've been using for more than a year and still I have almost a half because it grows a lot when added to water as it's dehydrated. Also for soups, noodles or any kind of meal you need pretty small amounts because it's enough for a pure taste. Don't use too much because it can be a bit untasty.Highly recommended.

very big bag
The bag is very big, and 500g of dried wakame could feed an army! The bag is resealable, so easy to store, but if you are not using it a lot, you might want to transfer it to a more air tight container. This wakame comes from China, and is of good quality. It expands tenfold, 1 teaspoon of this seaweed will fill a whole mug when expanded. I tend to take a small amount out of the bag and crush it to a tiny pieces before using it to sprinkle over miso soup or ramen bowl.

Dried Kelp Production line
This is one massive bag.I read the instructions and found that a small amount is to be left in hot water for 3 minutes.to.produce enough wakame.I definitely over did the "small amount" part. You really do only need a small amount. It expands like magic.I pop this in miso soup (same organic brand) every few days and sometimes with lightly fried mushrooms too.So easy and very tasty.I assume.my intake of iodine has gone up from.zeronsince having this stuff. This bag should last a very long time
