Does not last as long as stated even though i have give it very sparingly.
The overall quality of the hay looks tasty, but at the same time there was a lot of dust maybe 1/4 of the bag. My rabbit did love the hay but bought a unbranded type and she loved that just as much and got slightly more for my money. I would only buy this again in a absolute emergency but think that the price for the grams you get is a joke to be honest., given the amount of dust also. The fact that it would not last the 10 days giving generously (or some word like it) as it states on the packet, irritated me. I felt they were just fibbing to everyone, unless they did the maths for insects! I already new when reading the back of the packet that it wasn't going to last long as it stated as maths already suggested other wise :), but still why write it on the packet of it isn't the case. As and idea of how long it will last - I did not give it generously at all i give it VERY sparingly (a handful of it a day mixed with my adult buns meadow hay). Even with just giving a handful of it, it only lasted me about 5 days. Although i say all that, i also consider that this is not exactly the sellers fault as this is around or a tiny bit less than the normal price form other retailers. So like i said - the next time i would ever purchase would be in another pandemic where i was in no way able to get any other alfalfa from anywhere, should i have another baby rabbit in the future as mines getting to old for this type of hay soon.

Well enjoyed by my 2 rabbits - expensive, but seems to be the best quality.
Expensive, but good.... My 2 rabbits have always been fussy when it comes to getting them to eat enough hay. They are now elderly (9 and 10) and, although I know that Alfafa hay is discouraged in adult rabbits, I have my vets blessing to indulge them with it. There's little point mixing it with other hay, as they will simply pick it out, so I allow a certain amount each day in a round metal hay ball. As the Oxbow brand is so expensive, my repeat order was for a cheaper alternative (from 'Lucerne Company') but they completely ignored it (and it was far too coarse to use as bedding, so not such a saving at all!)... so it will be back to Oxbow from now on 😊

Poor quality all dust
Really bad quality, 50% of each bag was dust!! On the photo it's whats left, it's over 500g of product that I can't use. Not recommended.

Great quality hay!
My bunnies love this hay, I am very sparing with it, I give it to them as a treat once every 2 or 3 weeks because its not good for adult rabbits. They love it and when it hits the bowl its gone in moments! The hay is of good length without too much dust, really only dust which is normal at the bottom of the bag. Great quality, colour and density and the bunnies are the best reviewers, they can't get enough of the stuff, what a shame it has to be rationed!

We bought Oxbow hay twice for our baby bunny, and the first batch was great - super fresh, mostly green, a lot of leafy bits. The second batch however was extremely disappointing. The hay is clearly not fresh and very old, and the small leafy bits are far and few between. Every morning my girlfriend has to picky out all the brown hays before feeding it to our rabbit. My rabbit is very picky so she doesn’t eat if she doesn’t like what she sees. It is such a pain and a big disappointment. This brand is no longer reliable in terms of quality guarantee. I will start looking for alternatives. FYI, Amazon does not let you return or get your money back when the quality of hay you paid for is awful. It said the hay would expire in April 2023 but I can see it exporting very sooner. The hay is kept in a good temperature room with the rest of our Timothy hay/alfalfa hay.

I recently purchased hay for my bunnies, and while the first batch of Timothy hay was excellent and my bunnies absolutely loved it, I was very disappointed with the alfalfa hay. The alfalfa came out very dusty and the overall quality was not as good as expected. As a result, my bunnies stopped eating hay, which was quite concerning. I paid a premium price expecting consistent, high-quality hay, so it was frustrating to receive such a subpar product. I hope the supplier improves the quality of their hay in the future.
