Fabulous hairdryer, used by pretty much every hairdresser I've ever been to. Bought to replace my old Parlux which finally gave out after about 12 years long service in daily use! I thought I'd go for the slightly more expensive version this time for the weight reduction and I'm really happy to report that it is just as powerful as the old one, with a noticeable but not massive weight reduction. In conjunction with my ceramic barrelled round bristle brush (GHD), it leaves my shoulder length thick frizzy hair straight and silky in 10 minutes without the need for any straightening irons afterwards. At the price I think it is so worth the money, especially since I gave up the GHD straighteners years ago and they are more expensive than this, plus I don't have any breakage of my hair with this method where the straighteners were really bad for hair condition. If you're thinking of buying just do it you won't regret it. Can't recommend enough!

Best hair dryer I have ever owned and I've had quite a few. I have shoulder length, thick coarse hair which is difficult to style. Even after years of practice, it would still feel a big job to wash and style my hair. Not anymore. I thought I was being way to extravagant buying a dryer at this price, but I can honestly say that I don't regret it now I have it. It is amazing. This wee machine is so light and yet so powerful and it has halved the time it takes to do my hair. Cool blast is great as well so I don't get too hot anymore either. I am a total convert and will recommend this hair dryer to anyone. I'm so happy.

This is without a doubt the best hair tool I have ever had, I have had straighteners, blowing brush things, curling irons you name it, but I was never really satisfied with the results, the irons for instance flatten yes, but flatten the life out of my hair! For anyone trying to decide I think the key is what is your hair like to begin with? For instance on my daughters fine straight hair, it didn't look any different. However on mine it performs miracles! My hair is thick, there is tonnes of it, (hairdressers always comment and seem quite surprised how long it takes to dry) it's frizzy and has weird kinks all over the place, previously it always looked better the day after washing when it had calmed down a bit. This dryer basically blows it straight, but straight with some 'life'. I have not really needed to use my straighteners and it's very quick too.

Like others have reported, mine arrived with a 2 pin European plug - useless when I am in the UK. What a waste of time and money. Will have to be returned.

This is by far the best hairdryer I've used. I have mix-textured Afro-Asian hair and choose to blowdry my hair after washing. I use one of those thermal roller brushes whilst blowdrying to help stretch the hair out due to shrinkage and this leaves my 4a/4b hair looking silky, smooth and somewhat straight-ish. Me and my mum use it and we both suffer from Fibromyalgia so tend to get aches in our wrists and arms, however this is quite lightweight so it a lot more ergonomical to hold. My only complaint is that it gets really hot even on the lower heat setting: at times feels like it's burning my scalp. Definitely make sure to plaster that heat protection on, because the heat that comes out of this thing will damage your hair if you're not careful. Another complaint, is that it was really confusing when we first starting using it in terms of switching it on. There isn't an on-button, instead you have to press the lower button to turn it on and off. Overall, I really appreciate having a hairdryer brand that specifically designs its products with Afro and Curly hair in mind, as it's often a rare occurrence. 100% recommend for Afro hair, worth the expensive price tag :)

I bought this over a year ago and have used it almost every day - the reason I thought it worth the investment. It’s powerful, fast and sturdy with a long lead, a cool setting and a good nozzle. It saves time with every use. I have never tried a better hairdryer - and have seen this brand used by many hair stylists. Would strongly recommend.

I bought this hairdryer in 2012. It's still going strong. I'd only ever buy another Parlux. Amazing product and great value for money.

La secadora es de muy buena calidad, el vendedor creo deberia estar mas preparado para el seguimiento de paquetes ya que me llego 1 mes despues de la fecha de entrega, pedi mi devolicion por miedo a perder mi dinero y nunca quizo hacermela diciendo que en algun momento llegaria

Siempre he usado está marca y no lo cambio es un secador que dura años. Vale la pena gastarse un poquito más y comprar calidad.
