First Amazon Review - these things are AMAZING. Been using them for years in the basement. The amount they catch is wild - just did my change out of them, and if you want to know how strong they are... one had a dead Mouse in it. I change them out a few times and tuck them into the corners and they work phenomenally.

Do Not use these outside. Especially if you have cool critters that live in your garden. I saw a big trail of ants going into the trap. That's when I saw a lizard tail hanging out of it. I freaked! Because these traps are really sticky. There was a big red spider stuck in it and I think he was going to eat it. Poor guy. The Blue Belly was stuck and the ants were all over him. So we had to operate. First I rinsed off the stupid ants then I got a cup of dish detergent with water and a plastic clay tool and slowly pried his little fingers ,arms, belly etc...It took two of us to do it. While I pried my boyfriend would tuck some paper under so he wouldn't get retrapped on the glue. He was a trooper. He made it!! Sorry so long winded but I wanted to share so others can avoid the trauma. Ive got bluebellys and aligator lizards, frogs, salamanders that I love seeing in my garden. So just a heads up, only use inside.

Easy to assemble

I purchased a good quantity of these spider traps a few months ago. Initially I reveiwed them and raved about how well designed they were and how they were so easy to assemble. That's all that can be said in a positive way. I distributed the assembled traps throughout the house, especially where I saw any webs.I have yet to catch a single spider!!!! Whatever they use to attract insects just doesn't work. I have used other brands of glue traps in similar configuration and have caught plenty of spiders and other insects. This trap attracts NONE. Buy something else if you want to get rid of spiders. Ordinary glue traps are very effective for all kinds of obnoxious critters. (Bu I believe catching mice this way is cruel so I buy smaller traps)

I have these around my doors where we get a lot of spiders (including really large wolf spiders) as well as pinchers and such and these help catch them at the door before they can come into the home and lay eggs or scare anyone of us. I thought these were good traps as they seem to do the job well-do wish they wld stop printing photos of spiders on top of the boxes as I have to train my brain that that isn't real, would be nice to have that graphic removed and keep these more on the camouflage route. Also something i didn't realize how strong these were-I glad a trap out for more than a week trapping pinchers and it caught a mouse!!!! The mouse was the size of the trap and it somehow was strong enough to catch it and hold it until I could remove it. I didn't know I had a mouse problem and this solved the issue before it became a bigger one. Really impressed

I have a brown recluse infestation. This 1 trap caught 8 this time. More in others.I hate glue traps for mice. So cruel. But dangerous spiders by the dozens every month-OK!
