Not for meter boxes
I like that they are metal , but they are not for outside gas and electric meter boxes , however with a hacksaw and vice l modernised mine to fit and work perfectly

Great lock.
As recommended, perfect for my new outdoor electric cupboard door. The old door had no lock and broke as the postman was always using it to leave parcels. This lock, I'm told is one all electric meter readers will have the key for, so hopefully 'two birds with one stone '
