Certainly a good sax for beginners like myself and feels very well made . I took advice as mentioned in other reviews to change the mouthpiece to a Yamaha 4c alto mouthpiece . This change massively improves the sound and ease of play of the saxophone , especially if you're a beginner . All in all very good , punches well above its weight

Purchased this from Amazon for my 10yo son who has just graduated from the clainet to the saxaphone, he has had it for about 3 months and has made good progress so far. Sounds good and feels like a much more expensive instrument, all in all, we are both happy with this purchase and would recommend to anyone looking for a good entry level alto sax.

Never having played sax before I did not want to spend a lot of money in case I didn't take to the instrument. I also wanted to steer clear of the cheapest instruments, from the reviews many of which are mass produced in China. It plays fine - and I haven't found any problems with it. I'm just about managing Careless Whisper on it and that covers a broad range of notes. Its also beautiful to look at and so I treated myself to a good stand to put it on. This sax looks too good to hide away in a box. This sax does come with a sturdy case to carry it in plus various other things to help the beginner. To conclude, a perfect sax for beginners.

It is a good instrument for a beginner, but you will have to invest more money to make it sound right. I wasn’t convinced about all of the flaps fitting tightly to the sound holes, and I was right. Some of the pads were letting air out, which deformed the sound. And not everything it says on its box is right! On the box it says: Accessories - Locking deluxe next strap, metal clip and non-slip neck pad. - Rubbish! Just a cheap strap with no pad and just a plastic clip is in the case. - Double reed guard - Completely missing Not even the case is the same as it shows on the picture on the box! And do you know what was another problem I had? Just look at the first picture to see the quality of the reed that it came with... How do I know I haven’t received some cheap rubbish knock-off of the proper instrument? I wonder whether I should bother with returning the sax, or rather invest into putting it right instead of relying on the instrument I buy next being alright.

30 years old and starting a new instrument. I've bought a lot of tat off Amazon but this is an amazing purchase...the sax is just of work of art. Within 45 minutes I was doing perfect scales...I can't tell you the satisfaction that gives you! Like I say it's a real beaut. Feel like framing the damn thing but I will certainly be using it daily to practise and make use of one talent I actually have! I am learning all off youtube as well so I am planning this to be my one expense. The badge came off the case is the only negative, poorly glued on. It looks fine without it.

I was hoping to pick up the saxophone again after 20 years, at an affordable price, and this didn't disappoint. It was a great purchase. The ligature is a bit on the flimsy side so I replaced that and the neck strap needs to be replaced for a more comfortable one. The saxophone sounds lovely and looks great.

Ich habe mir dieses Saxophon gekauft, da ich seit Jahren gerne spielen wollte. Ich sah jedoch nicht ein, mir gleich ein teures Markenmodel zu holen, weiß ich denn, ob das Spielen wirklich was für mich ist. Ich kann keinen Vergleich zu einem anderen Saxophon geben, aber für meine Zwecke bin ich total zufrieden. Es lässt sich gut spielen. Und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Zudem kommt noch ein wenig Zubehör. Der Gurt ist ziemlich einfach (verständlich beim Gesamtpreis), aber da investiert man eben noch mal ein wenig für einen guten Schultergurt. Im Ganzen bin ich sehr zufrieden, ich spiele jetzt seit rund 4 Wochen und mache enorme Fortschritte - zum Dank für meine Nachbarn.

Il sassofono è ottimo, suona perfettamente (giudizio dato da più di un esperto) peccato per la custodia che è arrivata per ben due volte danneggiata. Sottolineo che però il problema è stato eccellentemente affrontato da Amazon che ancora una volta ha dimostrato grande rispetto per i propri clienti.

Das man bei dem Preis nicht die beste Qualität erwarten darf, sollte jedem klar sein. Aber für einen Anfänger ist dieses Saxophon erstmal ausreichend. Ich selbst habe mich dafür entschieden, weil ich mich erstmal in das Thema hereinfinden wollte und bei meinem Experiment nicht gleich tausend Euro ausgeben wollte. Der Klang (wenn man denn einen sauberen Ton spielt), ist gut und für die Ohren angenehm. Die Klappen sind leichtgängig und schließen gut ab. Das mitgelieferte Mundstück ist mittelmäßig......... ich habe es gegen ein 4C von Yamaha ausgetauscht. Fazit: Bei EUR 410,- kann man nichts falsch machen. Die Ansprüche werden mit zunehmender Spielpraxis ohnehin steigen. Um es aber auszuprobieren und seine ersten Erfahrungen zu sammeln, ist das Saxophon aber gut geeignet.

Habe meinem Mann das Saxophon gekauft, weil er nach Jahren wieder anfangen wollte, dieses Instrument zu spielen. Damals hatte er ein teures Selmer Saxophon. Als Wiedereinsteiger wollte er ein günstiges haben und siehe da.... Dieses tolle Saxophon hat einen wunderschönen Klang und er war total begeistert. Kann es also als Instrument für Anfänger und auch Fortgeschrittene nur empfehlen.
