I'm not a hunter, I'm a cook. I'm not trying to sharpen a penknife or a machette. All I want is a sharpener that's stupid easy to use, Won't ruin my kitchen knives and keeps them razor sharp. I want a precise grind angle and I want it to work quickly. The Grizzly is that sharpener. It doesn't produce a burr because it sharpens both sides of the knife at the same time therefor you're not trying to lap it off. You can strop the knife if you want but for normal kitchen duties it's not necessary. I had my vintage Sabatier 'professionally' sharpened which meant it was sharpened on a band grinder and a load of metal was ground off. Never again. I will sharpen my own knives from no on using this South African sharpener. Highly recommended.

It doesn't get much easier to use than this thing, but I've got to admit that it looks pretty wild when it's in use and draws lots of questions sitting on the counter top. It can be adjusted for several different cutting angles, and sharpens knives to an almost razor edge with almost no effort. I put away my old Japanese water stone. The abrasive rods are easy to change, and come in a variety of grits for different types of blades.

I have had my knives sharped professionally and could never get them sharp enough myself. Until we ran into a man at a street fair using one of these on his pocketknives he was selling. We went home and purchase one and OMG this is the best thing ever. My knives are always sharp now. This product works great, and I highly recommend it.

Super easy to use! It doesn't sharpen as fast as I've heard people say but it does a great job, easier than any sharpener I've had.

Great gift and great sharpener. Husband brags about how sharp his knives are after using it:) First saw one at an outdoor expo in Georgia (much more expensive there). Could be an heirloom to pass down to children or grandchildren.

Received this as a gift. Works well on most knives. Very easy to use. Does take a while to get a dull knife sharp. Not quite as effective as having them sharpened by a professional, but will keep an edge on already sharp knives.

This sharpener is awesome! My friend and ex have this sharpener and I decided I needed my own. I cook, bake and BBQ as well as have a few pocket knives so I have a lot of knives inall shapes and sizes. I got tired of the standard kitchen sharpeners and ordered myself the aqua Warthog V-Sharp Classic. It was delivered in a timely manner but it had a broken bushing so I called the seller and he sent me a replacement set of bushings and told me how to replace it. I received the parts quickly and replaced the bushing and couldn’t be happier! My pocket knife shaves hair now and my kitchen knives slice like butter. This is not only a great sharpener that anyone can use, the seller service is great as well! If your looking for a knife sharpener whether your a housewife, a hunter or just someone wholikes their knives sharp (and who doesn’t?) buy a warthog you won’t be disappointed!!
