Metal Electric Kazoo with Pickup(Electric Black)

Until now, I've never needed or owned a kazoo and never would have thought that quality would matter but I have to say that this kazoo is nicer than I would expect a kazoo to be. It's made from metal rather than plastic, is solid and durable. It comes with different membranes and having just received it, I'm not sure if they are different for creating different tones or are just replacements. Either way, nice to have. The device has a twistable nut for adjusting the tone. The packaging is also very nice. This might all sound a bit much and unnecessary for a kazoo but for the reasonably low price, it makes for good value.

I had one of the more common metal Kazoo's but it didn't hold up. It was also hard to keep in the mouth when playing an ukulele at the same time. I thought I would give this one a try. I thought it looked pretty interesting and at the time it was a toss up between this or a wooden one. I didn't want plastic or the same old metal one I already destroyed. First, it looks kind of classy...for a kazoo. It plays nicely. I found it plenty loud enough for my needs. The nice think is the mouth piece has small ridges in it, so you can keep it in your mouth while playing. No more accidentally blowing it across the table or room, if you can't hold it in your hand while playing. It comes with five extra membranes, a nice silicone mouth piece cap and a sting to hang it from your neck. I'm quite happy with this and I'm sure it will give me years of use with the Uke Club.

I ordered this one and a bag of cheaper colorful ones from a diferent brand to be safe. I tried out one a couple of the cheap ones at first and was a little dissapointed at how mild they sound. Then I pulled this bad boy out and immediately I can see some of the nagative reviews are wrong. It does, in fact, seem to be metal. Probably a lightweight aluminum. I got it from my cold mailbox, and it still felt like cold metal. I got all gitty when I played it. Annoying and buzzy, just like I hoped. I started fumbling around with the membrane holder and put it back together, and what do you know. A little more buzz! From what I can tell, said membrane holder is meant to be the "tone adjustment knob". Yeah, if you're looking for instructions I've got news, check out my pic. That's all you get. That's the reason I had to knock off a star. Directions, and that "knob". I got this thing for 2 reasons. To lose friends, and to record annoying covers. It won't be great for recording because the knob is inconsistent. It's the same as a bottle cap. It's either fully tight, loose, or off. For recording I need it to sound the same throughout the process. Otherwise, it does sound and feel great. It did come with the 5 extra membranes, which is great for when I inevitably blow one out with the sheer hurricane force of my lungs. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised!

I love kazoos. This kazoo is amazing quality, and sounds great. Laugh if you want, but I use this kazoo professionally every weekend.

I bought this and another cheap kazoo to compare tones. This is a very loud and crisp tone. If you want to annoy your neighbors, buy this one. Not to say it doesn't sound good, it's just very efficient. If you want a softer or mellower tone, look elsewhere. Well built, nice packaging

I can throw it into my pouch and annoy my friends at a campfire sing-along. I like that the tension on the membrane is adjustable. It changes the tremble of the sound. A little soap and water and the beer smell washes out. I used it a few days attending a Medieval Camping event. It was a fun addition. I didn't need to use any of the spare membranes, yet.

Nice presentation and quality. It's loudest when used with only 1 membrane as it absorbs most of the energy and vibrates freely. Also the loser it is the more crumbly and louder it is. However, it takes some playing around to figure out the sweet spot of the membrane adjustment and the ring tightness based on your sound preference. Overall a good Kazoo for the price!
