Change is as good as a rest
I've bought Elixir strings for as long as I can remember and can't fault them...so why did I buy Martin strings? Well, I'd bought a Martin guitar and so thought I'd match it up with these strings as they were highly recommended. I'm not a big fan of new strings...much prefer them when they've been on a few weeks and lost that bright zingy sound. These didn't really suffer too much from that and whilst they sounded new and bright they had a rich depth from the off. I've had them on now for around 3 months and they still sound excellent and stay in tune despite some bending and changing tunings several times. They are certainly as good as Elixr strings whether they ;last as long remains to be seen but so far so good...I should add, I keep strings on for a long time as I like the dull sound as they age! I would recommend trying them as theya re a good price and I'm sure you don't need a MArtin to appreciate their sound.

Wonderful tone.
You don't buy these strings for long lasting brightness and durability - go to Elixir if you want invincible strings. You buy these for the tone. And these are the best sounding strings I've played. At first they're nice and bright and rich, then they age like fine wine! The more you play them, the better they sound. They get to a nice woody, vintage tone after about a month of playing. Definitely the best strings I've used, and after trying Gibson's, D'Addarios, Elixirs, I think I'll only ever use these from here on out. The only drawback was a string snapping when tuning down after about a month and a half of playing them, but I can easily look past it for the tone these bring.

My FAVOURITE set of guitar strings 🤩🤩🤩
These produce such a warm & vintage sound! I love how they sound with my Martin Guitar. They produce a deep & rich sound. They’re easy on my fingers. The longevity of these strings is immaculate. Excellent playability & tuning. They’re less susceptible from breaking.

I enjoy the sound of the nickel strings. No complaints

Good tone,corrosion resistant,long long life.
I like these strings for all of the above reasons.I like every guitarist i have met HATE changing strings which has to be done regularly because sweaty fingers are acidic and cause corrosion which along with dirt increases mass and kills tone. The pure nickel winding on a tinned steel core do not electrically react with each other. The first set i used i changed after six weeks, only to find the new set sounded the same-i had changed them too soon. I do not like the fact that extra care must be taken when putting them on because the round steel core means the outer winding can loose tension if they are trimmed before a good amount of tension is applied to the string. The outer winding can slip and kill tone. Why martin do this i do not know, all of their other strings are wound on a hexagonal core. A good string that lasts ages and at a good price, what's not to like?

Sound flat
Just to try something different on my Martin 00028. I use Martin phosphor bronze light and really like the Eric Clapton ones. These sounded so dull and flat. I took them off after 1 day. Now, there is a huge debate about strings on line similar to what oil to use in a classic car or what brand of tyre on a motorcycle. It is just personal choice.

Nice on Mahogany guitars
Brilliant work well on all mahogany guitars I use them on a Martin 000-15M and a Bromo BAT2M. Nice feel and nice tone when played in they need some settling time but are great then

Guitar Strings
These are by far the nicest and roundest sounding strings I have ever had on my Martin. I usually use phosphor bronze varieties but these are bett in my opinion. Will defo buy again.

Excellent - had a local music shop put these in for me. Sounds beautiful :) Even the shop was impressed with these.

Uso queste corde da un paio d’anni e sono eccezionali. Mi piacciono molto più delle tradizionali in ottone o bronzo. Consegna largamente in anticipo, arrivate a dicembre nonostante la consegna fosse prevista per metà gennaio.

These strings are great. been using them for over 10 years. They sound great, last a long time and remind me of the 80s Gibson nickel plated strings I loved to use. As you might have read; they sound broken in as soon as you put them on and feel solid, stay tuned and play well for longer than you would go between changes. Word is Tony Rice had a hand in coaxing Martin into bringing these out. They were called TONYS CHOICE. Getting 3fer price is also a bonus. If you wanna play and connect as directly as possible with your guitar try these out. Besides all that if your body chemistry reacts to bronze like mine does these are deffinitely a revalation.

I have a Martin D-18, I play daily, and I buy a lot of strings and change them often, and I rate each set of strings I play. I really dig these strings and consistently rate them 5/5. They last a long time but I still change them after roughly six to eight weeks. I use 12s. What I like about them is their clarity, tone, and consistency over time. They’re not bright and they won’t create an initial high sparkle like Martin’s SPs. However, the highs remain solid, the lows are not muddy, and they don’t fade much. Haven’t had one break, either. They seem to enhance that D-18 tone. Note: One of the sets I purchased had a DOA low E string. It just thudded! I’ve experienced that before with other sets from other companies, so it’s understandable. I’m on my 5th or 6th set of these strings now, and they’re on all my acoustics at the moment.

2、4、5弦がミディアムより若干細ことが影響しているのかフラットピッキングがすごく弾きやすいです。
