Masters Bead Stroke Counter, one size, K-REY-GFA119

I'm delighted with this very simple yet very practical bead counter which I attach to my trousers belt loop. No matter how much I try to remember my golf strokes I always add one extra or one less and the latter can be very embarrassing! My next challenge is that I have to remember to push a bead (designed as black and white golf balls which I like a lot) along the string after each stroke now!! Great for the price and does the job.

Great little item. Will certainly have another if the need arises.

Golf beads take the strain out of keeping score - easy to use - no stress counting

I ordered two of these, one for me and one for my wife - we've just taken up golf and found it harder than we expected to play the game and count at the same time. There are fancier solutions available, and there are more expensive solutions available, but having read the reviews I thought that low-tech is best - fewer moving parts to go wrong. I haven't been disappointed. Unlike the reviewer who had a plastic clip, mine is metal. Very light, and cheap metal, but at the price I didn't really expect much else. It's a little longer than I was expecting, too, but that doesn't make any difference - it clips neatly on my golf bag and so it is always ready to use and slide yet another bead across as I hoof another ball into the rough. I recommend this. At the price it is a simple solution to a simple problem.

Great item

Ever been on a golf course and after putting the ball, thought, drive - 1, rough - 2, fairway shot - 3, bunker - 4, 5...did I miss a shot? This nifty wee gadget takes the thinking away and lets you enjoy the game. It doesn't need any batteries. And the small beads are in the shape of small golf balls. Take a shot. Move a bead. And it stays in place. Do the same again at the next shot. Since I used to take more than 10 at some holes, I bought 2 of these. But since my game has improved. So now my golfing partner uses the other one. All you need to do is reset it at the end of a hole, not down the score and move to the next hole. Simple and effective. No thinking required. I would definitely recommend it.

Bought two of these from "Gamola Golf Ltd" and they seem ok and do as they should but they were advertised as black and white but came with green and white balls which doesn't look very nice.

I have only been playing golf for three months and it's easy to forget your shot count amongst all the other things going on. But I like to count every shot I take so I can see improvement. I slide the bead along as I take the club out of the bag and that way never forget a shot. Just remember to count your penalties.... This won't improve your golf, but it will help you to chart your progress and see improvement.
