Wind proof for real, not warm by itself
I use these as normal gloves when I drive, they’re a bit wrong for that. But for biking or outside activities with wind? Awesome. Biking: The gloves are part of my winter commute tools. They legitimately block wind, on top at least, as I noticed when I dry them on the glove rack after. Winter commuting in Minnesota means subzero Fahrenheit weather, and I angered Mother Nature early in life so I usually get strong headwinds. I wear these INSIDE the Bar Mitts 6mm extreme cold pogies, but the gloves won’t help folks with cold hands caused by circulation issues. The cold metal slowly chills my fingers over the ride home since my poor bike gets stuck in an unheated indoor area and it’s not a long enough ride to rewarm the handlebars. Pulling a hand out to swipe my nose means no extra cold getting into my fingers. My experience with heavy winds a few weeks ago gave a great test for: Grip: Excellent, doesn’t slip off hoods inside pogies, haven’t been on bar tape yet, but I’m primarily on the hoods anyway. Also helpful grabbing boxes of delivered goods. Windpoof: Yep. Even when not stuffed into pogies, no cooling (-15 F) wind chill effect. Nose wiper: Soft, fleece thumbs means softly dried nose. When nose not hidden in wool for survival. Warmth: Meh. When I’m active, they’re okay. The pogies do the heavy lifting of warmth retention so the gloves would be warmer as mittens. But then it’s harder to shift. They don’t block the heat exchange between my palms and the cold hoods/handlebars, but I’m not uncomfortable. If you have a circulation issue, not these gloves. Consider diving mitts instead, thick neoprene with a mitten-like inside. Or electric gloves. That was my next choice if these hadn’t worked so well outside the pogies. Padding: Nice, feels comfortable on the hoods, seems to be in the right spots. Not a standalone winter outdoor heavier activity glove, but windproof, comfortable, visible, and grippy.

Can take going down to freezing temp in the woods, but not on the road comfortably....
Ordered these in November and finally had a chance to test them twice in December in near freezing temps (32F-36F). The first test was a MTB trail ride and these were warm for the entire ride back in the woods at relatively slow speeds and low wind. I didn't notice my hands getting cold at all. The second test was a road ride, again around 34F. These were OK for about the first hour of riding, but I noticed my hands getting pretty cold and numb after nearly two hours. Like others have said, you probably need to resort to bar mitts for near or below freezing temps to keep the hands comfy. For road riding, to me these would be about perfect for 40-50F. Fit and construction quality seem good. I only give these 4 of 5 stars as I feel like they could have been just a tad warmer.

Made well and fit is good
Excellent fit and comfortable. The cushion padding and grip in the palms works very well as do the thumb tips for touch screen control.

Warm gloves but do NOT use for mountain biking
I should've heeded the reviews of a couple of other's on these gloves. These gloves are warm and quite comfortable...as long as they are not used for mountain biking. The palm gel bump does not allow you to properly and comfortably hold on to your handlebar grips. Further, because of the stuffing (to keep the gloves warm), my hands moved around while holding the handlebars. Not safe while mtn biking. So - if you want them for hiking or winter walking, great! Hands were nice and warm at 42 degrees. But do NOT buy for mountain biking.

Great gloves for slim/athletic hands
Ideal for winter cycling, both MTB and road. Not too bulky, perfect fit for me, but my hands are not your hands. Great for normal width hands with longer fingers. If you're tall but not big, these may be the gloves for you. I tried 5 different types/brands of gloves available on Amazon, and these definitely were not the cheapest, but they were the only pair I kept. They fit the best, great mobility, and warm. No idea how these work in sub-32F temps because I don't ride when it's that cold.

Love these!
I love these gloves! The quality, fit n pricing are spot on. I usually wear them for cycling but I've been grabbing them for running as well. They are waterproof n windproof, as described.
