FreshJet 3 Series, 15K BTU RV Rooftop Air Conditioner unit, White

We've had this unit installed for nearly a month. It's very quiet performer! Cooling beautifully, we're using it every day. This was THE right choice to replace our old "noisy Duo-Therm". Installed with same very plug connections & wall thermostat, couldn't be easier. except of course getting da unit to the roof ;-) Note: The shipping box wasn't nearly strong enough in our view to protect it from a poor handling. See picture, we feel lucky it wasn't damaged honestly! Best advice! Purchased the extended warranty #1, and on delivery do take time to removed top and inspect the unit fully for damage to top, sides and base before signing off., they'll wait! Otherwise buy this with confidence! We'll update anything if needed or find it useful. Update Aug 1st ! Through July we pretty much use all afternoon! Its cooling our rig nicely even when near 100 temps. We're even more pleased we purchased this unit.

Wow! Great new a/c units, I purchased 2 and they both came in heavy weight crate cardboard boxes and were dropped off upside down but no damage. Quality was very good and they both work great. They installed directly into the original roof position. The value for the money was good as well. These units are super cool and we’re all happy.

Received product with significant damage to the base and the cover. I used it anyways because it worked fine. Package did not appear damaged so it was obviously repackaged.

Easy peasy, direction plug and play to replace my 2018 domestic duo therm 15k took about an hour but most of that time was spent cleaning under neath the old one and I bought a new roll of ac tape and thoroughly taped over all the old tape with new tape and closed up any small holes great product and easy install.

Got the new unit installed in about 1 1/2 hours most of which was getting the old one off. Very nice unit. Much lighter than the old one. Very easy to install. Plug and play. Has some nice hard rubber pedestals it sits on, making things a lot quieter and secure. The unit sits higher off the roof too making it easier for water to run off. Don’t buy a seal kit, it has one. Although you have an option of white or black it states at least twice you’ll get black. I choose white and got black but I can live with it. After reading some of the reviews it looks like you’ll get whatever they throw on the truck. Shipping’s via a 3rd party which would explain why some experience delays and/or damage but some could be salvage. Be sure to note who it ships from and is sold by. It tends to change often. Buy prime.

In the middle of a heat wave our old dometic (duo therm) went out and this was supposed to be a direct plug and play replacement. We have a ducted every and when I tell you this couldn’t have been any easier I’m not kidding, from removing the old one to having the AC back on was around 30 minutes and was simply bolt in and reconnect the plug! Today is day one but the camper is already cold and this thing is way quieter than our old one. Would definitely recommend as of current.

Be sure to check packaging. My a/c unit box looked fine, but when opened the shroud and base had cracked and broken. Unit runs fine, but shippers are responsible for the damage

If you don't have a thermostat you need the correct ADB (air distribution box) that attaches to the ceiling to control this. But holy crap, this weights less than half of the unit it replaced and it blows ice cold air and it's much quieter!! Highly recommend this, when I doubt.. buy one that's for both ducted/non-ducted ceiling applications. It came with the gasket built on it, so no need to purchase one separately.

Perfect fit

This unit is much quieter than the 8 year old Dometic that I had before. It's also lighter and apparently more efficient, I'm very happy. My old control box worked fine with this unit.
