Bandai Hobby MG Aile Strike Gundam Ver. RM 1/100 Scale Action Figure Model Kit

Easily the best MG kit I have ever purchased. The Strike looks fantastic as always, and for the price the MS alone would be worth it--The Aile Striker pack and custom base are huge bonuses. I have no idea why they don't show off the Archangel launch deck base in the product photos, since it really sets this kit apart. The only real downside of this kit (though it could also be an upside depending on your preference) is the sticker to decal ratio; there are only about 30 decals, and some of the larger stickers would definitely look better as decals. However, stickers are much easier to apply, so there's a balancing act between realism and simplicity. Oh, also there are no poseable hands. Note that the 5 star rating for ease of assembly is based on the assumption of this being an MG kit; those completely new to Gunpla or model-building will probably still find some difficulty here, especially with decal placement. As usual the text of the instruction booklet is entirely in Japanese, and although the images are extremely clear, some basic knowledge of kana and a couple kanji will be helpful.

The mg aile strike ver. rm is a total package. It looks amazing when finished and has excellent articulation. The build was fun and made sense at every step of the process. Its an average sized kit and has a decent number of runners. The accessories are well done and the backpack has an especially 'striking' appearance when mounted on the gundam. The shield connector is very secure and the strike holds its weapons quite well, although hands are the typical seed/wing swapable type. The strike's 2 combat knives are included and store nicely in the side skirts. A special base comes with the kit and can be used for both aerial and ground poses. Its actually a launch pad complete with power cables that connect to the strikes back to replicate arch angel launch scenes from the anime. The kit also has a set of decals that truly add visual appeal to the completed model. In the end, this is kira yamato's iconic first mobile suit and the mg aile strike ver. rm does it right.

One of my favorite series in the gundam universe. I had to get it. Plus, it kept me entertained for a while.

For the asking price, you’re getting a lot from this. You have the mobile suit, the iconic aile strike pack, and a stand modeled after the Archangel’s launch deck. I kind of wish there was a model of the Archangel out there, too. If you’re wanting this thinking it will have the endurance of an action figure, please know that this is most definitely not like that. The plating and parts are durable enough, but this could strategically break apart if you drop it even a little. I’ve seen videos where moving certain appendages will pop off the skirt plating, but mine hasn’t had that issue. The joints are still stiff and sturdy, so it’s not had any issues standing, even with the massive jetpack attached (I hope the weight distribution was this generous in the show. If it was, no wonder the Strike could fight as easily as it was). Having a model tools kit is definitely a MUST for this, so if you get it, make sure to bundle the tool kit and some panel lining makers. A little black and gray will go a long way and sprucing up the cool-factor. Also, get Loctite superglue. It’s easy to control and it got the V-fin locked onto the head (it’s the one loose piece on the whole suit. Luckily, it’s easy to clue on and not messy if you’re careful.

Arrived earlier than expected date. Box was in great condition. All runners unbroken, guide booklet was perfect, everything was perfect.

This kit would make for an excellent first Master Grade for someone looking to move up fop rom High Grade kits. The MG Aile Strike RM is a fantastic update to the old MG Strike. It has a higher degree of part separation, more panel lines, better articulation and an overall better look than the older model. Like most modern MG level kits, this kit features a full inner frame that the outer armor fits into. The Strike comes complete with with the Aile back pack, a beam rifle, shield, two beam sabers, two knives and the parts necessary to add the Launcher and Sword packs on to create the Perfect Strike. This kit shares many inner frame and armor components with the MG Duel, Blitz, Buster and Aegis. Some parts will also be interchangeable with the other MG Seed kits for easy kit bashing.

The kit was awesome ! It's rock solid ezcept for the aide skirts keeps popping off everytime you try to move the legs also the wings are a little bit fragile be careful putting them together . Gave it four stars because of the shipping the box was slightly damaged when it arrived which is a scary thing.

Questo è il mio sesto mastergrade. Il MS è molto molto bello, nonostante non sia un Master Grade di alto (non è un RX-93 o un Sazabi per capirci, che ovviamente costano dai 30 ai 60 euro in più). Montaggio semplice e intuitivo. Questa è la versione RM, cioè remastered. Il grande valore aggiunto di questo modello è la sua base di lancio che funziona anche come action base. Meravigliose le pose che si possono realizzare. In particolare due tipi: prima del lancio, con il Mobile Suite in piedi sulle pedane, attaccato a un cavo, e quella subito dopo il lancio con il Mobile Suite appena rilasciato e in volo (utilizzando il sostengo nascosto nella base di lancio). Modello solido nelle giunture, non ha problemi di peso. Consiglio di fare molta attenzione al jetpack. Dentro ci sono i soliti adesivi e decal transfer, non ad acqua. Consiglio anche di fare le pannellature e, alla fine di tutto, passare uno strato di opaco per proteggere il modello e le decalcomanie. Spedizione Amazon al solito eccellente: 1 giorno scarso.
