I was advised to try this wax product by my physiotherapist as therapy for extremely stiff and painful hands following operations on both hands which are quite debilitating. I also have rheumatoid arthritis. This make of wax bath is the one she uses in her clinic. Once set up, it is easy to use although it does take a couple of hours to heat up and regulate the temperature . As described for a cosmetic use, it does make your hands feel very soft and smooth ready for a manicure. For my purpose, after use (I only keep it on each hand for about 5 to 10 minutes) , it has the instant effect of lessening the stiffness and relieving much of the pain , unfortunately, the relief only lasts for an hour or so but for even that short time , it still seems worthwhile. I would suggest using both blocks of wax at once because one block is not quite deep enough. If you are the only person using the bath then the wax you remove following a session can be reused unlike in a beauty salon or clinic where it has to be disposed of. Wax refills are easy to order.

The Beurer MP70 paraffin wax bath does a great job of keeping my hands soft and well moisturised. After using it, my skin feels smooth and supple, and it’s especially nice for dry hands. The only downside is that the wax takes quite a while to melt — around 2 hours on the high setting — so it does require a bit of planning ahead. Once it’s ready though, it works very well. Overall, a good product with great results, just be aware of the heating time.

As a treatment for stiff fingers I've used this nearly every night and can tell a small benefit so far. It takes about 2 hours to melt And you need to buy another 2 blocks (use 3) which I think they know this but you need 3 or more to cover the hand and wrist. It is very hot even when you've turned it down to cool and you have to keep dipping and extracting your hand numerous times to get wax on the hands to deal with leaving in a little longer. No patience gets burnt hands. Put the supplied bags over for 20 mins and stay put.

I brought this product after reading reviews from other people. Having children my hands become painful ever so often at times they are so painful that they swell. Not only that I work as an administrator and my index finger hurts a lot because I use the keyboard and mouse a lot. after purchasing the spa I have to say, each time I use it my hands become pain-free for some weeks.. it really is worth the price and I would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants to give this to their mum .. it really is a brilliant product

Having Physio for a broken wrist and used wax bath at Hospital and found it very soothing and enabled me to do exercises with less pain, so decided to get one to use at home. This one is excellent for home use , you may need a little more wax than the two supplied as you do loose some during use. The wax has a nice tangerine smell and leaves skin feeling moisturised and supple but the main benefit for me has been the deep heat penetration to help me exercise my wrist.

I bought this product as I broke my right wrist badly and my hand is taking a while to recover. My physio uses a large model to relax my muscles etc to work on my hand, but recommended that you could buy a similar wax bath more cheaply from the beauty therapy market. i wanted one large enough to get my whole hand and also some of my wrist in. I did have to buy additional wax to bring it from the min level to max level to get my whole hand in. It has taken some time to get the right temp - somewhere in the middle of "warm" but I am thrilled with it. Easy to use, large enough for my purposes and just as good as the more expensive therapist version. The wax smells lovely and I topped it up with a orange and cinnamon paraffin wax. Thank you.

great machine. fits my size ladies 7 foot. heats quickly and I found easier to heat at the temp I need it to be for use rather than on high and then to turn it down and wait for it to cool a bit. starts to cool and set quickly. neat cord storage under the unit. as it is for personal use i peel off the used wax gloves/socks and lay them ontop of the solid wax to remelt for my next session. my skin was very soft after my treatment.

Great product for hands, to small for any feet over a size 4. The 2 x blocks of wax supplied only fill it to minimum! so I could only dip my finger tips in and not plunge my whole hand into the wax. I had to purchase more wax blocks. You will need 3 x wax blocks to get maximum wax for your full hand to be dipped into the bath. I feel the sellers description is misleading as you clearly need 3 x blocks of wax not 2. Saying that it's a good product and the wax is nice.

Llego super rápido y funciona bien. Tarda algo más de 2h en licuar la parafina. Por ponerle una pega, la ruleta de la temperatura debería marcar los grados, la parafina se mantiene liquida a partir de los 40 grados pero en general a los pacientes les resulta desagradable las primeras veces por miedo a quemarse. Estaría bien ponerlo a 40° directamente y no tener q andar probando donde es el punto mínimo donde se mantiene liquida.

La Beurer è una società conosciutissima per la qualità dei suoi prodotti per la salute ed il nostro benessere. Quest' apparecchio per bagno di paraffina lo sto utilizzando perché ho recentemente avuto un intervento al polso e la fisioterapista mi ha consigliato di fare esercizi di riabilitazione, in casa, proprio con la paraffina calda.. L'apparecchio è di facile uso e arriva con due panetti di paraffina agli agrumi al fine di poterlo utilizzare al suo arrivo. La spedizione è stata velocissima, e l'apparecchio era imballato perfettamente. Arriva con un manuale d'istruzioni ben strutturato per usarlo al meglio e regolare la temperatura con facilità, ma il suo uso è facile ed intuitivo. E' un apparecchio perfetto per il mio problema, è piuttosto profondo ed anche se la parte interna non consente di distendere completamente la mano il problema si supera usando un pennello per distribuire la paraffina, che impiega molto tempo per sciogliersi ma per avere il bagno di paraffina sempre a disposizione lascio il macchinario sempre acceso fissandolo ad una temperatura più bassa rispetto a quella richiesta per il mio problema. Sottolineo che mi è stato proposto un noleggio di un macchinario per bagno di paraffina, ma il suo costo era molto alto, era un accessorio molto grande e professionale, ma ora con quest'acquisto sono libera di farmi il bagno di paraffina senza alcun vincolo di restituzione.
