AproDerm® Gel 500g Pump – Highly Moisturising and Protective Gel; Suitable for Dry Skin, Dermatitis, Eczema and Psoriasis; Vegan

I was going crazy with itchiness at the beginning of eczema on my arms, shoulders and legs. This product was recommended to me and it has been absolutely brilliant. Daily use has completely resolved the itchiness. I wondered at first if it was just a coincidence so stopped using it for a couple of days and the itchiness returned. I spent good money trying to find a product that worked, some expensive, but being expensive should work, right? Nah! This stuff however, really does work, and the fact that I'm reviewing it is testament in itself that I recommend you to try it. No more scratching like a mange ridden mongrel for me. And it's cheap.

Excellent product. A little greasy at first but dries quickly

The pump works well and the gel moisturises the skin well. I have moderately dry skin and it works well for it. The gel is light weight, but it leaves a sticky layer that goes away after a few minutes. Also, annoyingly the expiry date is October 2025 which is not very long as normally it takes me 12 months to use up 500g.

I've tried all kinds of products for my eczema over the years and have only ever experienced some mild relief at best but still had red patches with split skin and all the usual nastiness but since switching to this it's been an incredible improvement. I only now get the odd bit of dryness and that's only if I've not yet applied it. I incorporate it into my morning routine every single day and no longer have any flare ups for at least a year. Of course this is just what works for me - everybody is different and it may not do anything for you but for me it's been amazing to finally be rid of my red face after all these years.

I suffer from PsA and have very dry, easily aggravated skin. Love this stuff - though I don't consider it a wonder cure for my psoriasis, it is soothing, non greasy and easy to apply and absorb. Though psoriasis is still as rampant as ever in places, it is less red and angry looking - the texture of the dragon scale skin has improved and the rest of my skin feels dreamy. Will definitely buy again - well priced and economical for a large pump dispenser.

If you’re expecting a Gel then think again this is a cream, not sure why it says gel. Gel to me is a liquid not white in colour. The pump dispenser doesn’t work at all. Not great! and there is no smell to it. I will give it a go regardless of the lack of pump and see if helps at all with Psoriosis … fingers crossed as it’s not cheap and currently my thoughts are I could of paid £1 for a tub of white cream moisturiser . So let’s see.

I use this as a soap substitute for my baby with excema as she can't use the conventional baby soaps. This is good and smells good too
