Fantastic product, easy to put on, very good quality of valves, easy to operate, no leaks. Good value for Money. Used that before for years and never had any issues with this so very happy customer again. Very easy to create special additional loop to add for example temporarily UV lamp to the system or Nitrate filters etc..... or just makes life easier when disconnecting external filters.

Installed and working as a semi automatic draining system on my main aquarium . Their are no installation instructions so wasn't sure how the screw threads worked with the hose connected but managed to find a youtube video showing you leave them attatched , push warmed hose onto ends then screw nuts back down onto hose , creating a lock , which keeps the 12/16 mm hose from coming off ! Like most eheim products its well made but overpriced ! The quick unscrew disconnect works very well for me . I have a lily pipe permanently attached to my tank/some hose/this quick disconnect tap fot semi automatic water drainage . Would buy again . Can recommend . This is my honest opinion . As with all Eheim products, these work perfectly. They really make it much easier to establish the siphon when you're setting up your filter, and will hold water in the hoses while you do filter maintenance so that you don't have to re-establish the siphon again. They're quick and easy to disconnect, and only a few drops of water escape.

Made in Germany. Even when you have a shut off in your filter, these things are great. Just turn off the filter, shut off the upper tap, shut off the lower tap, disconnect the pair and no leakage. They are also very useful for switching inlet or outlet pipes with no fuss. And... you can use them to regulate flow (despite what anyone says).

There’s no getting away from it, these are expensive. But, they are worth the money. Nice and easy way to isolate the flow to and from the filter. I use them to isolate a pre-filter before the main unit and the double taps work wonders for taking the pre-filter out of line for cleaning. Excellent product.

Makes life so much easier as I can turn off 4 taps on the inlet and outlet pipes and remove the external filter for cleaning without getting water everywhere and without losing the water from the pipes. When the filter is put back in place the water in the pipes ensures the filter fills effortlessly and primes the pump (just make sure inlet and outlet in tank are both submerged.

This appears a good connector, although rather expensive. However, whereas the main body of the unit is of robust plastic, the tap part itself is made from very thin and brittle plastic - I found this out when the unit knocked lightly against the sink unit during a water change and the tap smashed, rendering it useless! I need to have one of these, so having to spend another £20+ on a replacement.
