Second time purchase that item. Nice compact design, adorable adhesive… extended far enough for hanging phone vertical position without touching dashboard.

These are the go to phone mount in my work cars. I switch out cars every year or so and have put one of these in each one with a MagSafe IPhone charger connected. The adhesive has never failed and the arms range of motion lets you out the mount just where you want it.

After fighting with getting the adhesive backing paper removed, I stuck it on my dash after cleaning the area with alcohol. I then let the adhesive set up for a couple of days (as recommended by 3M - there were no instructions with the mounts.) Once the waiting period was up, I mounted my phone holder on the ball mount. Had a bit of vibration movement, but seemed otherwise solid for about a week, until the adhesive separated from the base, dropping my phone holder on the floor. (The adhesive patch is still on the dash, and is not being cooperative about removal!) What I liked: The adjustable rotation of the arm allowed me to position the end close to where I wanted it. What I didn't: Having it fall off after a very short time was disappointing. The 3M VHB (Very High Bond) adhesive was VERY hard to get the backing paper off, and the difficulty I had leads me to suspect they're using an old batch of tape. In the end, however, the 3M tape stuck to the dash just fine, just not to the flexible base pad of the mount.

My two mounts both lost adhesion on the underside of the mount, like other reviewers. They adhere to the mounting surface great but the mount itself falls away, leaving bare tape on the dash of my truck. I like the mount design, so I did some research as to why this was occurring. 3M VHB (Very High Bond) double-sided tape is what is on the mount when you buy it and it is a wonderful product. I’ve used it dozens of times, but some surfaces, like the plastic that the base of the mount is made of, are classified as LSE (Low Surface Energy) and the VHB isn’t appropriate for these surfaces by itself. 3M makes an LSE double-sided tape, but it is white foam and that kind of tape is messy to remove, so I trimmed new VHB and used “3M Primer 94” which, when applied to the bare mount before putting the VHB on, essentially turns it into an LSE tape. It has been about a week with a couple of long-ish drives and some hot direct sun situations and the mount is holding strong. Before this modification the mount would lose adhesion within 24 hours.

nice item,a bit smaller then I thought but worked out very well, the 3m really holds strong. Just remember to clean area very good. would buy again.

Overall they are decent mounts, but both of the bases have peeled off the pre-installed tape whenever it is hot outside or the vehicle is in direct sunlight. It has happened several to each in the 2 weeks they have been installed. The tape stays secure to the dash, but the mounting plate comes off the tape and then my phone falls.

Seems good. Hope they last.

Bought this for 3 of my vehicles because I got tired of hanging my phone holder to the air vents. Mounts very easy and adhesive is very strong. So far so good in hot weather interior and the adhesive is still hold strong. Fit and finish is excellent.

Although a great idea, the mount failed with in a month. The flat part with the sticky tape tore and the mount fell apart...not woth the money

しっかりと貼り付けて使用開始後に５分で根元からちぎれて使い物にならなくなりました。 たかがスマホ１台分の重さすら耐えられないなんて酷すぎです。

そのまま使うのは止めた方が良いですね。 貼り付け側がゴムなので、両面テープを貼り替えても重さでゴムがちぎれます。 私はアクリル1.5mmを加工して取り付けています。 後は裏側がしっかり固定されてないと動いちゃうので両面テープで押さえ、ネジで固定(仮) マウント部分はしっかりしているので気に入ってますあ

テープの性能が悪くすぐ外れる。 仕方なく、ベース部分を頭の大きなビスで止めると、しばらくするとベース部分に蜘蛛の巣状のヒビが入る。樹脂の素材が悪い

熱ですぐにめくれてきます。夏場はだめです。
