Perfect for the job

Proper Gear Oil
It's perfect for the chain, very economical and performant. Have used for several years now and it lasts significantly longer than the spray on chain oil. It goes on clean and easy from a trusty oiler or can with very little fling (if any at all).Just to say, any oil will fling including the spray stuff, even though they say 'no fling'. I think it comes down to the amount you put on the chain.
