SH90 Replacement Rotary Heads for Philips Norelco Shavers Series 9000, New Version of Metal Wheel Buckle and Upgrade Double-Layer Precision Blades

I am 85yearsold. My father used a Norelco so I did also. Got mad at Norelco 3 years ago because I couldn’t find a good set of blades. Purchased another well known brand. Never could get a good shave. Received this new Norelco yesterday, used it this morning and finally got a good shave again.

Definitely NOT a good replacement for the original Philips S9000 unit. The blades are not the same design, could only use for 2 shaves as it was cutting my face off, really would 'bite' at the hair and not cut effectively at all. Ended up buying the original part of a local shaver shop, my God, like night and day. Stay away.

I've tried a couple different companies full shaver head replacements over the years. I came back to these. They seem to provide the best shave, or quickest shave. It's unfortunate this model has a warning for a lot of returns. But again I find them to be the best so far. Still not as good as the originals, but better than a lot of others being sold right now. I think there really are 2 SH90 razers being manufactured but with many different companies selling them. These SH90s have little dots in the center ring. The other SH90 type does not. At least that's what I've observed so far purchasing a few of these. I purchased one recently from another company and it looked exactly like the model I bought from another company. I bet they all come out of the same factory.

Purchased for an old x1250 and it fits and works ok. It's not a Norelco product since that's been discontinued but the overall quality is just ok, not great. The blades are much harsher on the skin than genuine norelco and there is less articulation of the discs.

Got this to replace my shaver head on a norelco s9000. So far it fits good and I’ll find out how good it shaves!

In less than 3 months the metallic covering is delaminating. The shaver head now grabs and pinches my skin and it is making odd noises. It is totally useless. There does not appear to be a product support page relating to defective product. I have ordered a replacement from a different company! This was a total waste of money!

This will work but will cut you up. It’s just not the same quality as the genuine. Lesson learnt. Don’t skimp on this.
