Educa KD Toys Borras 15159 "Antique World Map Puzzle (1000-Piece)

Great puzzle. The printing quality is great, which is a big plus because you have to read the tiny letters to put it together. It's not as difficult as it seems, especially if you know a bit about geography. As mentioned it is a modern world map with antique looks. All the pieces were there, as well, so 5/5 for this one.

This is the first 1,000 piece jigsaw I've ever done and I will admit, when I opened it, I wondered what I'd let myself in for. Still, it was something I'd always wanted to try and I like the end result image which I think is a must for anyone to stick with it. There were parts where I did wonder if all the pieces were included because I'd thoroughly looked for certain ones to no avail. Anyway, it IS complete and the pieces are well cut and clear. I have noticed another review that said the edges were frayed but I can only surmise that whoever was doing the puzzle didn't handle them properly as these were very compact and accurately cut. Took about 12 days with between 2 and 4 hours a day use. A magnifying glass is pretty much needed though as a warning.

Just finished the puzzle with only one pice missing, I'm sure this is my fault having lost it. The completed puzzle looks gorgeous and I hope to find the last piece and frame it.

All the pieces were there. Medium difficulty, took me about 5 evenings to complete. Lots of tiny writing and shades of brown/beige, but there are definite sections you can work with. It's a lovely map, but image is maybe not as crisp as I'd have liked.

its really fun and interesting puzzle and of course difficult but im really enjoying in it :)

Lovely puzzle, I am now trying to see if I can make it waterproof to put it out in my back garden, any advice ??

Surprisingly difficult puzzle given place names are written on it! Once completed it is a cracking picture.

No se me ocurre un regalo-pasatiempo con una mayor relación calidad-precio que éste. Los diez euros mejor invertidos en mucho tiempo. La calidad de las piezas y el acabado de sus bordes y las muescas de ensamblado son magníficas. Hacía años que no montaba un puzzle de esta marca y no recordaba este nivel de calidad. Aunque el puzzle es de formato medio-pequeño (68 cm x 48 cm) los textos del mapa en las piezas reales se leen perfectamente, con impresión de muy buena resolución y colorido. Es un puzzle muy didáctico y me gusta muchísimo la idea de un mapa-mundi de estilo antiguo (como clásicos de los siglos XVIII-XIX) pero actualizado al reparto político actual.

The quality of materials is really nice. A nice finish on the puzzle pieces. I like the art work.

Absolutely loved completing this. As expected top quality pieces, sorting the pieces took a while (if you don't know where a city belongs, it's probably in Russia) Putting the pieces together was rather easy. Recommend it 100%!!!
