Excellent uk made pencils
Fantastic pencils, the points are strong but easily sharpened and the shaft of the pencil is hexagonal and has a matt finish making it easy and comfortable to grip, they are also made in England which is very important to me.

Lovely set of pencils
Lovely set of pencils my first professional set and you can see the difference, the set comprised of hard and soft pencils so very versatile. And very reasonably priced too, will buy more I might try the watercolours and the pastel ones next. ❤️💜

Soft inside, tacky on the outside
Having used KOH-I-NOOR and Faber Castell for many years, I have decided to try something new. I have tried some other products from Derwent and was never disappointed. Also, these arrived in good time and nicely packed, so kudos to the seller. However, when it comes to the pencils themselves I was left a bit of disappointed. From the first glance they look a bit tacky. I don't know what kind of wood they are made of, but they are unnaturally lightweight and sit awkward in your palm. I have noticed that the hearts are way softer than the other two brands mentioned. H felt like 2B and 4B felt like 6B compared to Faber Castell. So keep that in mind. It might be just me, but I also broke two tips just after 5 minutes of sketching. If you are just starting up, these should be alright. These are the best set of pencils I own. They draw on any medium beautifully. The tips are strong and has a comfortable grip. My Faber's and staedtler are nothing compared to these. It's now my favorite pencil set. As a beginner artist I still have a lot to learn about pencils and mediums so maybe in the future another one will take my attention but for now these are the best Iv come across.
