ScotchBlue Painter's Masking Tape - Original Multi Surface – Blue Crepe Paper, 1 Roll, 24mm x 55m

Brilliant stuff! Like masking tape, only it has a slight lateral stiffness like a tape measure kind of quality, which means you can draw out a length and hold it at both ends and push the straight edge of the tape into corner where carpet meets skirting board, without having to push it in all the way along the length of the tape. And it does stick to carpet.... it does grab to this to the same degree as it does a painted wall, but when you put it down on the carpet, it stays... it doesn't let go, and then curl up like normal masking tape. I painted door frames and skirting going from a bath room round into a carpeted bedroom, and it stuck easily to every surface - bath tiles, plaster wall, carpet, and other painted wood. And having painted these, I left it there all night, then just peeled it off easily without removing any of the paint from these. Great to work with... no flapping hands about to try and free yourself from tangled tape, or trying to unstick it from the roll... sticks when you want it to, let's go as you would wish it to, and is a very mouldable tape. Nice big roll of tape and v good price Supposed to be able to be peeled off easily so in the hope it does do that giving five stars Just want to add now I have actually used it that It works well and peels off without leaving any mess so an excellent product! Great for temporarily sticking anything to anything!!

Bought this as I needed to paint the top half of bathroom tiles. Very easy to use and stuck well with very little bleeding of the paint. The only reason I didn't give it all 5 stars was it took the paint off my bathroom wall when I removed it. Could have been a problem with the original paint though and I would use it again

Changed my life. I always used to forget to write on freezer bags once they're full of stock/stew/breadcrumbs etc and then would have to awkwardly attempt to scrawl as description before stowing them in the freezer. I'm too much of a control freak to chance guessing the contents a month down the line (but obviously not enough of one to remember to write on the bags before filling.) Anyway... this stuff is great. Easy to write on with a Sharpie, tearable, seems to stick for months. Love it.

I wanted a masking tape to attach drawing paper to a board or mask off a clean edge on hard sized watercolour paper. (Most brands of low tack mask take lumps out of my paper when I remove it, washi tape doesn't stick down properly and old school artists tape seems to be unavailable.) Having seen this brand used successfully online I thought I would give it a try. I am glad I did. It adheres firmly, masks properly and removes cleanly without taking chunks out every kind of paper I have tried it on so far. ( I wouldn't recommend using tape on papers that won't accept masking fluid.) There is also about twice as much on the roll as the average variety of low tack tape so it was better value than I expected. This was worth every penny and I recommend it.

What fabulous tape this is; I used on glass and it was quick and easy to apply without tearing and creasing. Removing the tape afterwards was simple, it came off very easily in one long strip. Will not go back to using masking tape again now I've found this. Well worth the money.

Always use this stuff, bit pricey but well worth the extra few quid. Seldom pulls any new paint off when removed and great adhesion.

Disappointed with the tape. Needed good edge between two paint colours (Black & light grey). Paint applied with roller but still paint bleed onto next edge. Removing tape from a surface that had 48 hours to dry still pulled off strips of pint. Now use as packing tape.
