People were a little sceptical when I suggested buying this product to transport tables to a bootsale but, I have to say, it was an absolute triumph. Very easy to fit to the car and to secure the items on top - we put one of the spare straps around the three items first to secure them together then used the straps on the racks to secure to the car - the load did not shift in the slightest. Our car has good headroom but I can see how the strap inside the car may annoy you if you do not have this. We made sure the top of the car was clean and put a blanket on the roof first just to ensure no sctratching. All in all, a great little item for occasional use - highly recommended.

These were purchased with the 340 litre car roof rack cargo bag soft top box and provided a fantastic cheaper alternative to traditional fixed metal roof bars. Easy to attach by strapping through the car and secured by a strong ratchet they did not move in transit and provided support for the load. Can be left on the car and do not interfere with normal driving or easily removed and stored in the bag provided and thrown in the boot.

As I have a saloon car, practicality is not is strongest point. Purchased this to keep in boot for that unplanned visit to a diy or furniture store. The item has been used once to carry two cot sides and an 8' x 9" length of plywood. On an oldish BMW 3 tightening the straps hard appeared to press in the roof, but only at the rear. Finding a better position on the roof might help. The roof was fine when the rack removed. Good value and may get me out a fix at some point, but consider the strength of your car roof and don't use the load rating of the roof rack. Also, while the straps offer lateral support, consider the load sliding forward under braking. They do supply two extra long straps in the pack.

A really well made little product, easy to fit and can take a reasonable amount of weight. I used them to get a few 18mm floor boards home to board the loft. I added a couple of extra ratchet straps for peace of mind

Arrived quickly and are easy to use and set up. Able to carry a kayak really easily.

Very poor. The strap broke on the first time of using it. And the second strap did the same thing today. Not impressed at all!!!

Very easy to put on, does the job perfectly and comes in a robust bag with instructions printed on the side, perfect for keeping in the boot. I easily carry a canoe on the roof of my fiat panda using it.... highly recommended
