Competitively priced. Quality seems good. Much better than a standard road tyre for a turbo (and my road tyre was still pretty slick - so I was surprised). It was actually very easy to put on - just the same as a normal tyre. Other people’s reviews made me think it was going to be difficult. Completely straightforward. Just hope the tires are good enough to get me through a good load of KM’s. Doing 30-40 KM’s at the moment (and over the first couple of weeks has held up great). Would buy from seller again.

Was harder to fit than my other tyres, but once on it does the job perfectly paired with my Tacx Vortex. Unsure if it's quieter than a normal road tyre, but it seems to slip less, and saves wearing out my road tyre. Plus the blue looks great and matches my bike as well!

But expensive for what it is, but makes my Tacx training very smooth and quieter. My standard road tyre inner tube exploded on the trainer when I was using a standard road tyre and damaged the lining of the tyre making it only fit for the bin- the Tacx makes mincemeat of standard road tyres and makes them shiney and dangerous. Invest in one of these.

A very good trainer tyre which will last you for a good while. Folds up nicely when not in use and is easy to fit when in trainer season. I had an old wheel knocking about so now I have a permanent turbo wheel set up whenever I need it. Perfect for those colder months.

Excellent product, does what it says. I did struggle for a little while trying to get it on to the wheel, but once on i was really happy with the trainer tyre. I have used it lots since i got it and its still going strong.

Does leave a slight blue rubber residue on the turbo over time but this is probably the case for almost all tyres. As others have mentioned - purchasing this stops bits of rubber going everywhere - a standard tyre can deteriorate and become quickly unusable due to the wear. Fitting this tyre is quite a challenge compared to a standard tyre but presumably this is due to the nature of the hard rubber (which holds up against turbo wear) - after some manhandling and heavy pinching, the tyre fits. If you use your bike regularly on road and on turbo (not just winter turbo set up) then I would consider buying another wheel (with a standard tyre fitted) as switching tyres from turbo to road would take a while.

Much quieter and obviously doesn’t wear out expensive road tires. Has not slipped on me and Not as bad to fit as some reviews and online suggest! Took me 5 minutes, just leave it in the sun for 20 minutes before trying! I guess cold it would be a nightmare!

J'ai longtemps hésité avant de passer à l'achat car je trouvais cela pénible d'avoir à changer le pneu juste pour faire du home trainer. Après avoir utilisé mon pneu normal sur une dizaine de session (Continental Grand Prix), j'ai vite compris que mon pneu s’abîmait très vite. J'ai donc pris ce pneu que j'ai monté sur une deuxième roue que je réserve désormais au home trainer et c'est parfait ! 1- l'adhérence est excellente et c'est beaucoup plus fluide 2- le bruit est nettement diminué (j'ai mis un tapis anti vibration + un tapis de gym sous le home trainer et toujours pas de plainte de mes voisins d'en dessous :-) ) 3- le pneu n'a pas l'air de s'abimer et je pense qu'il durera longtemps...

Very happy to have received this indoor trainer wheel on time. Not available from most websites.

I used to use my old worn out tires on the I-Magic and wear them into oblivion to get everything but the oink out of them. However, they would slip and get bald spots and ride unevenly pretty fast and it made riding on the trainer less than stellar. I figured I would give the Tacx tire a chance, and it is much much better than the old tire discards. It is really grippy and yet durable, doesn't run hot, gives excellent traction and is more quiet. It rides with a lower frequency hum and gives a more 'road-like' feel because it's not slipping at all. I can't recommend the I-Magic (Fortius or the old one) from Tacx strongly enough, and this tire is a good one for those VR trainers. UPDATE 8/10/11 I've done many many miles on the trainer, and the tire just failed tonight. I think this is a lot of miles for the one tire, and shows it is as good as I espected or better. The current Amazon price of just over $30 is much better than the price I paid from Niagara cycle works when I got the first one. Definitely a great tire for indoor use on the trainer!

Básicamente, hace lo que se espera de ella. Obviamente, no vale para salir a rodar en exteriores (no la he probado, pero se ve que no es esa su finalidad), pero para el rodillo es perfecta. No he notado que se haya reducido el ruido con respecto a la cubierta normal, pero sí que parece que aguantará mucho tiempo. En mi caso, la tengo montada en otra rueda que uso exclusivamente para el rodillo. No se me pasaría por la cabeza la idea de andar cambiando las cubiertas según vaya a usar la bici en rodillo o en carretera.
