Well made
This is a replacement for one I already had that was near the end of its life and been scrapped. The reason I got rid of my last one, as anyone who has had one of these knows, is that eventually you cut into base with the saw. It is almost impossible not to saw into the base when you have sawed through the wood. Trying to make this one last longer I came up with the idea of buying a cheap self healing cutting mat. I then cut it to fit the base, so the saw hits this instead of the yellow plastic base. Works a treat and keeps the mitre base safe. When the mat starts getting cut into, you just slide it along in the base a bit and start again. The cheap saw that comes with it could be sharper, but I used my own anyway so it didn’t bother me. It’s ok for cutting a one off job but get yourself a decent saw to go with the block if can afford to do so.

Decent for small DIY projects
I bought specifically to cut some 45 degree angles on polymer dado rails I was using to make frames for 6ft mural boards I wanted to hang. It did the job well enough. It comes well packed, the saw is pinned to the box with a plug which also will ensure they don't get separated in the shed when stored. The lips on the box enabled me to clamp the box firmly to the table to prevent movement and the large plugs that insert into a selection of holes in the base and twist to keep whatever you are cutting in place worked really well. However be careful not over tighten as I did twist a bit hard initially, not wanted the dado to move, and it did slightly indent the edge of the first piece I cut. This could perhaps be because the polymer is softer than wood though. It was easy to use, had enough accuracy, there was no movement side to side that I noticed, the cut was clean. The saw could be better and if I was cutting anything thicker than dado I'd likely use the mitre/saw to cut a few mm to mark the angle then take the wood out and finish it with other better saws I have because it was an effort. You do shave some bits off the mitre box when sawing away so be prepared to see a small amount of yellow plastic in your sawdust. All in all, the box did what I needed it to do, it is fit for purpose for small DIY jobs, sturdy enough once clamped and it'll last a while so it was a good buy for me.

Smashing bit of business
A cracking product, especially when you consider the price. Unbeatable value. I needed something to help me cut flimsy beading for panelling and this little genius kit made a job I was dreading child's play. It takes a while to get the box "cut in" and there will be quite a bit of yellow plastic shavings in amongst the sawdust at first but once you get the system going you can't go wrong. The saw is not the best quality but perfect for my intentions. Definitely good value at that price anyway. As for the pegs, brilliant. They'll clamp all sizes somewhere in the box and really give stability. Great little things they are. I'm reading some critical reviews about the strength of the box etc. 1. What are you trying to saw, telegraph Poles and 2. It's €20, it's a steal for what's on offer. In short, if what you're cutting is relatively small, this is the job for you. You can't go wrong.

Stanley mitre box
Handy mitre box, I did upgrade the mitre saw to a finer tooth one but that was my choice the saw that comes with it was a heavier one than I liked. 3 useful clips on front to help to hold against a workbench as well as 2 pegs to hold work piece in place , multiple holes in base for all widths as well as 2 screw down points.

Ok for a few small projects
As the title says, this is adequate if you have a few small jobs that require a mitred cut, but I soon outgrew this and have since purchased an electric mitre saw. I was making garden planters, and needed mitred angles for the finish around the top. The angles are accurate enough as you can see, but there is a bit of play with the saw and the gaps they fit in. If you keep the saw aligned with the side of the angle you are in and work slowly, then you will get accurate cuts. The saw isn't particularly good, it takes a lot of effort to cut through architrave, which is what I was using this for. So, I found it best to start off with this to get the angle, then once I had cut enough of a groove, I would take the wood out of the mitre box and finish the cut with another saw. Alternatively, if you have a better saw that fits this box, you could just use that. I really like the clamping system they include with this, it is simple but effective. Put the tubular clamp(s) into one of the holes nearest your piece of wood, and twist to lock in place. There are pros and cons with this product, but if the included saw cut better I would give it 5 stars. And, at the price I paid I am overall satisfied.

Totaal onstabiel geheel. Het plastic buigt teveel mee om accurate zaagsnedes te maken. Recht of in een hoek (45*) zijn hierdoor onzuiver. Een miskoop, helaas.
