Vallejo Ghost Grey Acrylic Primer, Fast-Drying 200ml for Airbrush, Ideal for Model Building and Miniatures

As per usual from Vallejo, this is a brilliant primer. It’s an off-white kind of pale white colour which is brilliant as a base coat for say Games Workshop is contrast colours or other speed pain. I’ve only use this through an airbrush. I haven’t used it with a brush. However through an airbrush it’s fantastic it doesn’t necessarily recommend using any thinner, but I just drop a tiny little bit of thinner in with it and I get a really smooth base coat through the airbrush in rapid time ready for painting. Overall, I would 100%. Recommend this product as usual from Vallejo. You are getting quality products.

I have now used this with my air brush on wood, plastic and PLA 3D prints and I have to say this is excellent. The paint work is so much different after applying the base layer.

I wasn’t entirely sure what to expect when I first came across this, but I have to say—I’m pleasantly surprised. From the moment I started using it, I noticed a difference. The overall experience has just been… smoother, easier, more enjoyable. There’s something about the way it works that just makes sense.It’s clear a lot of thought went into the design and function. It does exactly what you need it to do—maybe even a bit more. I can’t say too much without giving it all away, but if you’re on the fence, I’d say give it a shot. You might end up wondering how you ever managed without it.Definitely worth it.

Best value for money, 200ml lasts ages

Sprays on really well with an Air gun. Mix the paint about 20% with water / airbrush thinners and about 20% Airbrush flow improver for a flawless finish. If using and air brush remember to use a needle of 0.3mm or above otherwise the paint will start to dry and block the airbrush nozzle!

I spray this out the bottle with a bit of water, it comes out very well and provides a nice surface to paint on

Simply put this is the best primer I have ever used. Use in my Iwata airbrush with a 0.5 nozzle/needle with NO thinning. Coverage is really good too. Not the cheapest but definitely worth the money.
