Duck also offer 'Original' Duck Tape which is thinner and not very tacky. Although it adheres to itself quite strongly on the roll, once removed and exposed to the air (or mild humidity) its tackiness is lost and it will not stick to itself or to clean, dry and extremely smooth surfaces. This appears to be very similar although it claims that it uses three-layer technology - one is obviously the adhesive - but, although it sticks sufficiently well to itself on the roll, unravelling a short length to check its tackiness, it had by then lost any adhesive strength. Made from a flexible plastic material, similar to but thinner than insulating tapes, it has some strengthening fibres running through it in both directions. Bought to replace a smaller roll of 'Original' and which failed to satisfy, this appears little better despite its proud claim to be 'the best ever'. I have previously only used the black and silver varieties (different brands) and even non-branded versions work far better than this. It may have some uses but it will not work in the situation intended.

Dall'avvento del classico "nastro americano" (credo una delle prime a produrlo fu la Nashua) in molti l'hanno prodotto ma in pochi sono riusciti ad avvicinarsi ad un prodotto simile. Il mercato e' pieno di nastri americani che di americano hanno solo il colore argentato. Questo Duck Tape invece e' davvero eccellente. L'adesivo e' molto forte. Il nastro non e' spessissimo (come per esempio il Gorilla Tape) quindi risulta molto maneggevole e pratico all'uso anche per riparazioni piccole o di precisione. Si adatta benissimo agli angoli. Adatto a tutto, rappresenta un prodotto top di gamma. Il prezzo e' notevole ma sono 25 metri e la qualita' del prodotto la si intuisce subito dal peso del rotolo. Questo e' un prodotto professionale e valido, come peraltro anche i Nashua appunto, o i Gorilla Tape. Se siete orientati su altre marche informatevi bene perche' ci sono delle imitazioni davvero scarse.

sono proprio deluso. Mi aspettavo un prodotto di qualità diversa. Il nastro tende a sfilacciarsi, non è quindi lineare e preciso quando viene fissato (nel mio caso alla pelle del sediolino del mio scooter). Inoltre è complicatissimo da tagliare (forse non bastano delle forbici normali?). Ultima annotazione tende, col tempo, a usurarsi
