Dermacontrol Facial Moisturizer for Acne-Prone Skin with Suncreen SPF 30, 4 Fluid (Packaging May Vary) Ounce

I have personally gone through many different types of men’s moisturisers and always struggled to find one that fits my skin type. I am 38 years young and have quite oily/greasy skin after a few hours of leaving the house and most moisturisers really added a shine to the skin which amplified my oily skin. I am currently taking some medication to help with acne, and I just googled best moisturiser to take with the medication I am using “ Epiduo “ cream. This is the stuff that I saw recommended and found it on Amazon. £20.00 is normally a little more than I would like to pay for a moisturiser, but I pulled the trigger and got some ordered. I have been using over a week now and I really like it. After cleaning my face, I apply once skin is dry and it soaks up pretty much straight away ( 2 squirts for face/neck ) has a matte like finish and doesn’t leave my skin shining like other stuff has. The first weekend I used it we had a very hot weekend in the UK and I can confirm the SPF did its thing. Really happy with the product and will be suing this as my main go to moisturiser from now on.

I'm sure it will protect from sun but I can't verify that yet (it's winter here) but I can say it's unfortunately one of those that stings your eyes if you get it near them when applying or throughout the day. Unfortunately my face still got as oily in the afternoon and I had to blot as usual, but I suppose as a moisturiser it is nice and thin and applys easy, just don't let it get in your eyes any time or they sting until you've fully rinsed them out. I won't buy again as I wanted something to at least keep the oil at bay longer than a few hours. Please note mine did not have any English on the box at all and the box was damaged with no paperwork inside either.

Light moisturiser that is good value. I get pimples very easily from moisturisers and this one doesn’t cause me pimples on my face.

It looks good on my face, but I can't it around my eyes, as it stings. I opted for mineral version from their rosacea range.

My favourite moisturiser and SPF. I have pale oily acne prone skin. After using a lot of different sunscreens and moisturises this one has been the most appealing. It is SPF30 and makes my skin less oily looking. Initially I didn't like it, until I gently rubbed it in using both hands on my face (instead of just fingers) and it dried down to a matte finish after about 10 minutes. I use two pumps for my face and one for my neck. I don't spend much time in the sun otherwise I'd use more. I use this every morning after washing my face, I'm now onto my second bottle (lasted about 3 to 4 months). I have only used this since September, so not through the hot summer; I will update with results once it gets hot.

Works very well. Absorbed quickly. Does not break me out at all. Unisex smell- subtly like suntan lotion. It is not completely matte after application but not very shiny either. Like a lot of similar products, this stings when it gets in to your eyes, and for me it has usually migrated into my eyes by the end of the day, or if exercising, and this can be an annoyance. I have reduced the amount I use on my forehead and this has made a difference.

It is not as the same as what shows in the picture therefore, not really sure if it will work for me as the same as the other one did

Love love love this product, been needing a good UV covering facial moisturiser that doesn't contribute to an already oily skin complexion. This creates a matt complexion, dries quickly, allows makeup to be applied seamlessly after application. Will absolutely continue using this because I also want to be ensured of the sun protection it offers and I haven't used any other product that works as effectively as this.

Has a light texture on skin. Good for someone who sweat a lot because of heavier/oily creams. Perfect for summers and daily use.

I suffered from oily skin in my teens and early 20s, but had pretty much grown out of it by my late 20s. Then, a month ago I had a septoplasty which all of a sudden gave me back the same oily skin from my younger days! I was not prepared for this and my regular sunscreen moisturizer just wouldn't do because it appeared that my skin was literally doused in oil. This is not the look you're going for at the start of a day! After this surgery it was recommended that I wear 30 SPF sunscreen at all times since my skin was ultra sensitive to the sun. I looked to you, fellow Amazon reviewer, to find a perfect sunscreen moisturizer for oily skin. This is it! It is so gentle and has not irritated my skin at all (I even used it post glycolic peel!). I put a heavier layer on, go about my morning business with other tasks and let it absorb into my skin to make sure I get good sun coverage. Even doing this, when it dries, it is not oily at all! There is a light shine to it after application, but I use a powder finish instead of foundation and it balances out just fine. Even with my hyper sun sensitive, post-surgery, fair skin, I have not had any issues with sun exposure and no burns! Highly recommend!

I originally got a sample of this from the dermatologist's office, and never looked at it twice for awhile. Boy, do I wish I had checked it out sooner! I mainly use this as a sunscreen, I'm in the middle of a course of Accutane and almost everything I put on my skin burns like crazy, even supposedly gentle products like Aveeno. I had been using an Aveeno sunscreen for awhile, and it always burned and turned my face bright red, not to mention that it was extremely greasy, hard to apply makeup over, just a mess in general. While talking with my dermatologist, I asked her if a moisturizer with SPF, as long as I used the needed amount (at least 1/4 tsp. for just your face to get the advertised SPF protection), could replace my facial sunscreen because every one I had tried so far burned. She said I could, and so I decided to try this. It has made a world of difference! My face no longer burns every morning, and my makeup looks much better than before. It's also moisturizing enough that I can apply it to my Accutane-parched skin directly after cleansing my face, and not feel dry and like I need a heavier moisturizer. All that being said, this is definitely not a perfect product. While not greasy, it does leave a bit of a sheen, so it's definitely not matte the way one might be hoping it to be, and because of this I really don't imagine it would provide much in the way of mattifying properties if that is what one is looking for in this product (I can't attest to this though, my skin currently is dry as a bone thanks to Accutane). It also burns like the dickens if you get it in your eyes, but that's no surprise as most sunscreens do. I would suggest using a separate, non-burning moisturizer in your eye area followed by a nice big pair of sunglasses, or trying a stick/solid sunscreen in that area that's less likely to transfer and move around, I use Palmer's Cocoa Butter Formula Swivel Stick in my eye area, and it works well, and doesn't burn. All in all, I really like this product and intend to continue using it for as long as they make it. Really great, I only wish I had known about it sooner.
