Note the metal loop is covered in a plastic/rubber material with loose stoppers on the end. As the loop is quite small anyway it is tricky to get these onto the door/gate etc. that your want to lock unless it has a bigger than average hole or loop in which to receive the lock. Other than that feels solid and good quality and was a good price.

Useless for outdoor use. Within a week of being outside in the rain, it was getting hard to get the key in and out as the lock cylinder rusted up. The rubber coating and seals are mostly for show, letting water in but the bottom seal over the keyhole does not let it out again so the lock just fills with water and starts to rust. In order to open the padlock and remove it from my shed door, I had to take the rubber seal off the end of the hoop, it wouldn't take long to lose that. I've now binned the padlock and replaced it with a stainless steel and brass one that is designed to be left outside rather than just being a cheap padlock with a leaky rubber coat. I had to use a small hammer this morning to loosen up the cylinder to get the key in so I could take the lock off to throw it away. If it had been there for a month more I probably would have had to cut the lock off the door.

I've bought padlocks before and they were exactly as the picture and served their purpose well. So I purchased another pack which arrived promptly. However these are not of the same quality. They are a different colour, which isn't a problem and I knew from the description they could be, but they are much smaller and the key in one of them is pretty tight, in the you need to jiggle it a bit to open the lock. I'm only using these for Geocaches so they'll do for this purpose but had I needed them for something else I think I would have returned them.

Great weatherproof padlocks pity they aren't keyed alike😞 It just makes it a little difficult to find which key is for which lick I'll get some coloured key covers that should help

They seem to be secure although we all know that if someone really wants to break into your shed they can do. All you can do is persuade them to go somewhere else. What I like about these is that rain cannot get into the top holes unlike most padlocks.

parecen buenos ,pero uno de ellos me ha durado cuatro dias.se ha quedado atascado y no funciona.Ha ido directo a la basura. Asi que no los recomiendo.Muy sencillos y el negro como ya he dicho duro cuatro dias ,es decir cuatro aberturas.La lastima es que vienen de lejos y he pasado de reclamar(Es lo que tiene a veces encargar cosas por aqui!!!)

Descritti come "nati per resistere alle intemperie", l'ho installato in un cancello in giardino, due acquazzoni da 10 min. totali ...di quelli che stanno venendo giù in questo mese di giugno… ed ho avuto bisogno dello svitol per poterlo aprire. Bah, che dire… valutate voi.

Protection

Il lucchetto inizialmente appare robusto, di ottimo peso, rivestito in gomma per la protezione dall'acqua. dopo poco tempo di utilizzo in giardino, dove è stato messo per chiudere una serratura di un deposito attrezzi, ha iniziato ad aprirsi e chiudersi male, con sempre maggior difficoltà, come se l'acqua l'avesse arrugginito all'interno. Non ha resistito a pioggia e irrigazione del prato. Francamente deludente.
