Perfect middle ground between Whey and Hemp Protein
To give this review some context: I started with trying (1) Gold Standard Whey protein, with strawberry; from there I tried (2) pure hemp protein; and now I'm trying this unflavored mix (3). 1) This was very sweet, and the mixing added a lot of bubbles. I fixed the sweetness by mixing it with more Soya milk than usual. The result was pretty good, but the bubbles still felt uncomfortable - as I take it before or after exercising. Towards the end of the tub, I also grew a bit tired of the same strawberry taste. 2) The hemp was like drinking sand. It tasted "healthy", but in a very unappealing way - not fresh and healthy. I kinda fixed that by adding some taste to the mix, my choice was Chadbury Drinking Chocolate powder, but I had quite a lot to cover up the taste. The result was still not good, and also felt less healthy then I was aiming for. The good thing about this protein though was the lack of bubbles! I could exercise with no issues, and I felt great both during and after the session. 3) The Nutrisport 90+ is like a balanced mix between the two: it isn't too grainy, it tastes quite neutral, almost no taste at all when mixing 70mg with about 0.6 liters of Alpro Soya milk. I added 2 tea spoons of Chadbury Drinking Chocolate, and the result was a perfectly tasty, slightly grainy - but in a good way – and the mix had almost no bubbles at all (just some at the very top of the glass). If you want vegan protein, this is at least a powder easy to mix and consume. Don't know about the effect it has just yet, as I just started using it.

Vegan Blend > Whey
I bought the 90+ Vegan blend unflavoured. Its only ingredients are rice protein isolate, pea protein isolate and soy protein isolate. Considering it is just raw ingredients it does not have an unpleasant taste, it tastes of practically nothing. I mix it with only 8 grams of pure cocoa powder and a small amount of stevia for sweetness and it tastes just as good as any flavoured protein powder, without the nasty chemicals and disgusting whey. Even without the stevia it still tastes fine. Considering most people lack the digestive enzymes to digest lactose correctly and the fact powdered cow secretions smell and taste absolutely disgusting, I really don't know why anyone would get whey powder over this. If you have ever tried unflavoured whey, you would know it is the most foul and disgusting taste ever. My point being you can only disguise something that tastes like the backside of a fat man's gym shorts to a certain extent. I can highly recommend getting an unflavoured plant based powder and just adding some coco powder to it. Things like hot chocolate drinks and such also make a good mixer. The reason for this is that 99% of flavoured protein powders contain sucralose which is various studies has been shown to negatively impact gut flora. I can anicdoatly confirm this as when I was consuming HUGE amounts of sucralose I had loose stools and also extreme hunger which no amount of food could satisfy. This is the same symptom I get from antibiotics. Flavoured powders also generally contain various other undesirable ingredients. Unflavoured is also cheaper. So considering whey tastes like crap, is hard to disguise, is poorly digested by most people and the very fact that drinking cow secretions is repulsive; I can highly recommend giving the vegan blend a go and using a bit of coco powder for flavour. I also have friends who have used hot chocolate powder and other powdered drinks for flavour with success. Personally I avoid drinking sugar outside of my workouts so plain cocoa powder is fine for me.

The vegan version is undrinkable. Think there is something very wrong with it - have seen a review saying they have ordered it a few times and previously it was good but something is wrong with it now. Using one scoop it turned into a massive undrinkable froth, with a strong metallic chemical taste/smell. Haven't been able to contact the sellers to tell them other than through the return but there is something very wrong with this batch and they need to check it. Is a shame as it should be a good blend/price.

Great Vegan Protein Powder
This vegan protein powder does not have a distinct taste, it almost reminds me a bit of baby milk powder, it definely doesn't taste good but its certainly not bad. I'd give the taste 5/10. Besides the taste, it blends okay - I tend to put it in smoothies in the blender and i never have any bumps/lumps of powder. Although once I did try and blend it with a fork into some Alpro Vanilla Soy milk and it had lots of lumps which just settled on top - wasn't very nice. I have never blended the powder into water, and I do not plan on doing so as I can imagine it wouldn't taste very nice. The container itself is HUGE, and it doesn't come completely full - but it is still the correct weight of 908g. It comes with a 20g scoop, which is useful as I did not have one previously. Overall, this is a good product which I would recommend and would purchase again myself.
