Jovan Musk Deodorant Spray for Men, 150 ml

I recently bought the classic Jovan Musk aftershave/cologne that dates back to the early 1970s and liked it so much I decided to double down and buy the deodorant body spray as well. I do like the look of the can that this comes in. Like the aftershave it is orange in colour giving that 1970s vibe. And just like the aftershave, Jovan Musk spray has a warm, lightly musky, spicy and slightly soapy scent. It works very well with the aftershave but is also good in its own right. The fragrance isn’t the longest-lasting but lingers for several hours. I’m pleased with this purchase. Not too musky, the warmth of the spice really makes for a great fragrance at a reasonable price.

Too many men's deodorants I find have a tart, spicy scent to them. Why is that? Personally, I much prefer something a little bit less 'in your face'. These, though, are, in my experience at least, notoriously difficult to find. Imagine my surprise and curiosity, then, when, whilst innocently scrolling through the options I came across a big orange can beaconing out at me bearing the words JOVAN MUSK! Instantly I was intrigued, having never even heard of the brand before. And so, with just a slight feeling of trepidation,I placed an order for one can, deciding to give the stuff a go. One can won't break the bank, and if I don't like it there doesn't have to be another. A couple of days later it arrived - a single 150 ml can packed in a huge cardboard box! - and, lo and behold, from the very first experimental spray in the air I knew I was going to love the stuff! It's warm, musky - of course! - and, most importantly, grown-up! A forty-something shouldn't still be wearing Lynx, it's cheap but quite frankly embarrassing. Lynx is for kids. JOVAN, however, is mature; it smells like a middle-aged working-class blokey-bloke should smell and I love it. I'll definitely be staying with this from now on. Or, perhaps, I won't! Apparently - and I didn't spot this until after I'd placed my order for the orange can - but apparently there's a black version as well. So, that's next then. Only after trying the black version will I decide. Either way, it's gonna be JOVAN MUSK from now on. Recommended to all forty-something blokey-blokes who want to smell - on a budget - like a man, not like their stroppy teenage son on a trip to the youth club!

Lovely fragrance. Have bought this many times

I first bought Jovan Musk deodorant several years ago. I used to be able to buy this in one of my local shops but for some strange reason the supplier stopped supplying them? The fragrance is quite unique and can't be confused with anything else that comes to mind. I would say that the smell is unmistakably masculine. Due to the difficulty in buying this I tend to only use it for special occasions which is a pity really as I would like to wear it more often. It's difficult to describe the smell, sweet, woody, flowery, all I can suggest is to buy some for yourself (if you are male) or get someone else to buy it for you. Not wishing to be classed sexist, I really do believe that it is best suited to men, but don't let me put you off ladies, if you would like to give it a go then go on and prove me wrong. Referring to my title, I do find this very expensive compared to other sprays and I really wished that it was cheaper so that I can afford to buy it more regularly. I suppose that the price does keep it a bit more exclusive so when you are out and about and come across someone else wearing it you know immediately what it is. I would, and do have no hesitation in recommending this deodorant, I only wished that it was a little bit cheaper so I could afford to buy some more. It's a thumbs up from me 👍👌

Jovan is one of the best Deodorants, around best buy for the money

Smells nice , I think it's quite a sweet smell but everyone is different . Doesn't seem to last very well and I have found I need to reapply where as others I've used I don't need to to But it's ok worth a go , just carry it with you!

At first I didn't really know what to make of the scent... It's a bit warm definitely spicy... But mellow spicy... It's a small can so if you're the type that bathes yourself in this type of stuff including your undercarriage... It may not last long... If you're the 3 blasts type like myself...2 pits and user choice... Then it's not a bad value for the money...
