Has anyone else had the quality control issues that one of the reviewers here had?

I have one for DF and love it. It's construction is very high quality!

Can anyone explain how the locking time thing works? I have no idea what those little number in the bottom mean

Just an indicator to check how tight the lock is...I always check to make sure that the lock point is pointing at the "tightest" position when I use the loop to with my shoulder strap. Over a day of shooting with the loop connected to the strap, the case can get loose. I actually dropped a x100 from my Gariz case strapped a few years back. So, I really just use it as a guide to make sure the case is secure. Tighten it as tight as you can and take note of where the indicator notch is pointing and check during each shoot.
