👍🧡HP ENVY Inspire 7958e Wireless All-in-One Color Inkjet Printer, Print, scan, copy,👍🧡
First of all the printer does have 6 monts on the box free HP ink & if you call hp to finish the setup part to connect to the internet, the agent will give the full 6 months on your hp account. If you do the entire set up as prompted, it wants you to choose from 1 or 2 types of print quantity and at higher price, I get 50prints a month for $4.99+ tax & this is my 10th year, cheaper than buying cartridges, also the cartridges that come with the machine are small and partially filled to get you maybe 30+ copies, just enough until you get your XL cartridges for hp ink in the mail. NOW...ABOUT THE PRINTER: This HP 7958e inkjet printer has met all of my expectations, but then I always buy HP and usually at Cost ---co. The main reason I buy HP is excellent quality photo prints that look like what's on my computer's screen before printing them out. The 7958e makes amazing photo quality prints with only 2 cartridges, one tri-color ink cartridge and a black ink cartridge. I also use the "best" setting for my photos and black & white printing. This printer is does fast prints too, I pressed "copy" on the LCD panel, and the first sheet was still being scanned as the printing already started to go!. Wow! And when using the document feeder, the printer didn't wait for the entire sheet to be thru feeding thru the document feeder and scanning before starting to print. Reccomend this printer... 🌺Always Honest Consice Reviews 🌺 Windshadow 🌺

Printer seems okay, I hate the HP app and instant Ink
The printer itself seems to work pretty well, when it works. Seems to be hit or miss sometimes. My biggest issue is with the instant ink subscription. They do everything they can to make you pay for this monthly subscription. I recieved ink cartridges from them, stored them. And let my subscription lapse, I just don't print much. So months later I install one of these cartridges and guess what, the printer won't let me print using that cartridge till I sign up for their instant ink service. The whole printer just stopped working till I paid them money, using a cartridge I had already paid for. The other issue I have is the printer disconnects itself from the internet on a regular basis, turns out I had to turn off the 5ghz connection on the printer, because of something to do with airplanes flying over. Overall I'm not that impressed, maybe it's just the learning curve involved. I want a printer I can plug in, load a driver and go to work, print, &scan. It just hasn't been that simple with this. Plug and play, should be just that simple by now. Update: it's worse than I thought. I'm supposed to be able to print from anywhere to this printer at my house using the app on my phone. I'm at my house trying to get a document scanned to my phone from the printer. The printer and the phone are on the same Wifi network. The Bluetooth connections are on, even the WiFi direct function is turned on and the app tells me I have no connection to the printer. They have just complicated this thing so badly that everything is a struggle just get anything done. I'm going to go all office space on this thing and go get a printer/scanner that won't refuse to work every 5 minutes. Edit: I originally gave this printer more stars but with time I have truly grown to hate this printer and the HP smart app. If I could give it less starts I would. I would give it minus stars. Today in the middle of printing some important medical forms it starts telling me that the paper is too long, it can only print 2 sided on certain paper sizes. I printed 6 sets of prints 2 sided on the 8.5 x 11 paper that HP sent me, then it starts this BS. Now it's wasting paper and ink and telling me the very paper I've been printing on all morning is suddenly the wrong size. I'm going to take it out for target practice and buy a printer that actually does what it's supposed to.

Not worth the price
Love HP product, but I could not get this printer to connect to my wifi. Even when using HP Smart app. Now it stopped working. To out my old HP printer which still works.

Great printer great price
This is a great printer for my WFH job. I can scan and print easily. The set up was easy and connecting wirelessly was a breeze. The HP app is a bonus too.

It was cheap.
I bought this to replace a failed Canon megatank printer, which had a litany of issues. One of them was that the nozzles would be clogged whenever I went to use it. I was looking at laser printers when I came across this unit at a price I couldn't pass up. And since the print heads are part of the ink cartridges, I figured clogged nozzles wouldn't be an issue. I was wrong. I print only intermittently - a couple of times a month or less, though some of those jobs are many pages long. The first month this printer was great. Always ready and prints were acceptable. And then nozzles started clogging. Easy fix - clean them. But that uses ink. Expensive ink. Two months after purchase I had to run a cleaning cycle before every print job. Not acceptable. I just replaced the first set of tanks today, and I'm disappointed to report that even after a printhead alignment (which uses ink) large dark areas are still "bandy". This is NOT a photographic printer, and I didn't expect it to be. But I did expect consistent, even coverage in large areas of color. It does not deliver. The good: Setup was easy. Software automatically finds the printer on each PC, Mac, or phone. It's fairly quiet (in quiet mode) and reasonably fast. The scan/copy functions work as expected. Print quality for text is good. Pages of text with small graphics look great. Auto duplexing (printing on the back side of the paper) was a nice surprise. The bad: It's ugly. Ok, that's subjective, but to me it is. The software package is heavy and it wants each user to register for HP's instant Ink service. Only one user needs to do this. The software works if you don't register, but it would be nice if that was made more clear during the install. The touch screen is not terribly responsive and there is no feedback. The paper tray cover, which is also the output tray, does not easily slide into place. Ink doesn't last long. That's the reason I went with a megatank printer last time. Ink tank life is reduced by the need to clean the nozzles every time I print. Did I mention that ink is expensive? Print quality for pictures is sub par. Dark areas are bandy. It's probably acceptable for a picture embedded in a report, for example. I wouldn't expect to use a printed picture on display in a frame. With moderately frequent use, a couple of times a week or more, this is probably a good printer. If you're like me and sometimes go months between prints, this is not your printer. But then, most likely no inkjet is. One last note, in case HP reads this. The Canon that this printer replaced lasted well over a year before I had nozzle clog issues. This printer didn't make it three months.
