I’m incredibly grateful for having this set to trim my dogs nails. She literally just laid in my lap and has been allowing me to trim them without a constant stream of treats and whining. I think she didn’t like the pressure of manual clippers, she doesn’t mind the electric one. It’s made cutting her nails quick, easy and painless. I love that there’s a light so you can see what you’re doing AND the quicks on dark nails. It’s not too loud so she isn’t scared at all. It works so well. It’s comfortable in my hand and clips the nails so quickly. Love this thing.

Very quiet, easy to use No issues

The nail grinder for dogs was securely packaged and delivered very quickly, as is typical for Amazon. Thank you for the great service and for letting me use the product for testing purposes. The nail grinder itself is of good to very good quality and is designed to do its job for many years. Replacement grinding heads are not offered by the seller here, which I personally find a shame, since the grinding attachments can be replaced anyway and because of the sustainability. To get our dog used to the new device, I followed the instructions step by step and although our dog is rather timid, she actually let me do one paw with the grinder. I used the pre-assembled "coarse grinding attachment" and the nails were very easy to trim. Because the grinding stones have a recess, the nails do not slip away when grinding, which I really liked. I ground the first two nails with the plastic attachment and the rest of the paw without the ring attachment. Both variants work very well if you hold the nail to be ground firmly with your fingers, which also reduces the vibration in the nail somewhat. (more comfortable for the animal) What should also be mentioned is that the claw grinder can be charged and used at the same time. This is a very practical function if you forget to fully charge the battery and need a little longer to grind. As with so many things in life, the saying applies here... "There is strength in calmness" and if you radiate calmness when grinding, the animal will not become restless and less anxious. Conclusion The electric grinder is very large and easy to hold and is very easy to use. The LED lighting (2 LED lights) is helpful in poor lighting conditions and can be switched on separately. The risk of injury when grinding is extremely small if the grinder is used correctly. (pay attention to life in the claw) I can recommend the grinder set with a clear conscience, but I deduct one star for the poor workmanship of the claw scissors (grinding). The nail grinder is one of the quietest devices I have ever tried - great. That gives the product a well-deserved 4/5 stars.

Good product that feels like it's built pretty well. Already used it on my dog's nails. The motor seems slightly on the weak side (the highest setting is still a bit slow and doesn't take too much pressure to completely stop it spinning) but it's probably safer that way. Comes with additional grinders which are nice, though I don't need the clippers. It's quite quiet, which is probably good for nervous dogs. Also supposedly comes with lifetime warranty as long as the company sticks around!

My dogs nails were getting way too long. I have two small dogs one has harder nails the other has softer nails I was tired of going to the groomers and spending extra amount of money. I was shopping on Amazon I came across this grinder and also included some clippers. The price was unbeatable so I took the risk and purchased it on a late night. I got it the next day, and immediately took it out. I saw on the box that there was three different types of grinders soft medium and coarse. I got my little French bulldog and popped on the soft grinder first. He took an harm to it at all. Just sat there patiently until I was done with his left paw. I would say it took me about 5 to 7 minutes per paw to do a good job. I was done in about 30 minutes. Then try it out clippers. The other dog had some harder nails (Boston terrier). She didn’t care for the grinding too much that’s why I started with the clippers I got it to a really good length before the vein. No flinching or anything nice clean cuts. You may wanna wear some glasses or something like that to protect your eyes from the clippings. After I was done clipping her I tried using the grinder she would let me for about 10 seconds at a time. I made a nice move finish I used the medium grinder on her toes. I’ve got to say that it’s been a huge relief for the dogs now they’re able to run around and I have to worry about their toenails getting caught. I would suggest to have some cleaning materials around when you’re grinding or do it on top of a towel to make sure that you’re not getting all the remnants all over the place. I feel this is a high-quality products and super simple to use everything it pops on and comes off easily there really wasn’t I need to read any instructions I just looked on the box. I made this purchase for both of my dogs one with her nails and the other was off nails it has been the best purchase you are the clippers and grinders didn’t seem to cut it and this one is definitely doing it the company seems stressless and the products are high-quality. Over all happy with the purchase.

Looks nice and feels okay haven't tested them yet. I will come back when doing so. Update 12/15/2025: Here's my honest review of this product. It works tremendously well better than my old grinder that only had two modes The flashlight is such a handy thing on it made trimming my dogs nail a lot easier. It was quick easy to use. I recommend this for anyone who wants to trim their dog's nails at home.

My wife and I are very happy with the Yabife pet nail grinder we purchased through Amazon. The included clippers are very sharp, sturdy, and move very smoothly. They clipped our dogs nails very easily and cleanly. My wife and I are both very happy with the overall quality of the grinder itself as well. We didnt think to check whether it was charged right out of the box but we plugged it into the included charger and came back about an hour later to check on it and the grinder was fully charged. It held the charge lomg enough that we had time to have it set on to get our dog used to it before trimming her nails and to trim all of her nails and it still had battery life left. After using it and charging it again we again plugged it in, left it for about an hour, and came back to find it fully charged again and ready for her next nail trimming. The grinder itself was very quiet and my dog didn't even seem to notice the little humming noise that it does make. It quickly and easily smoothed out the edges of our dog's nails and it was very comfortable to hold and fix comfortably in both my wife's and my hands. It is also very gentle on nails. I first tested it on one of my own nails to see how it felt and it wasn't harsh at all and it smoothed my nail edge very well. When we used them on the dog she didn't have any issues with it being used on her nails and she is only a 5 pound chihuahua mix so that was very nice as many things made like this are only designed with larger breeds of dog's in mind and are, more often than not, too large or too harsh for her small proportions. It was also strong enough and had had a large enough opening in the grinder's removable safety guard that neigher my wife nor I believe it would have any issues worki g just as well on a larger breed with thigher and tougher nails as well. It was very easy and straightforward to use and my wife and I had no problems using it, even for the first time. The built in light was actually very nice to have and made it much easier to make sure I wasn't going to cut the nails back too far. The small included brush does a great job at cleaning off the grinder head after you've finished using it and we personally found it nice to use between each nail as well. The instructions were very clear and easy to understand and came in a few different languages, including English. The Yabife pet nail grinder also came with a life time warranty for the main body machine to either be refunded in full or to be replaced with a new machine for free by the manufacturer, which is a great assurance to have on any purchase, specially any purchases made online. They also processed and shipped our order very quickly and we received it just a couple of days after placing the order. I would definitely recommend getting the Yabife pet nail grinder for yourself or as a gift for anyone who prefers to trim their own pet's nails at home like we do.

While this is nice it is not for large dog breeds. It takes forever to slightly file the nail. Sadly I’ll Need to buy a Dremel rotary tool and I’d suggest the same for anyone with a large dog breed. This won’t work.
