Clear, wide view
Small but powerful. Needed a new pair for hubby, he has vision problems and can’t read the guide on tv. What he had you could only see an area of 20 sq inches. So I started researching binoculars, boy lots to learn. Found these cause I wanted a wide field of view but needed to see up close. These start at 8’2” and even that close he can see about 1/3rd of the screen, so much better. With 8x they work at distance nicely. The quality is good and guarantee is a +.

High comfort, easy to use, powerful
I am an interpreter and I collect binoculars and monoculars. I have about 20. I often sit at the back of a large hall and interpret for the presenter. I use the binoculars/monoculars to read the presentations, the flow charts, the images, to look at the audience. These pair of binoculars is great, small so it fits in the palm of my hand, the image is crisp and clear, the range is so that I can read the small print in presentations from the very back of these auditoriums. I have several Carson products, including some microscopes and they are all of excellent quality... not just really good, but outstanding quality. These are now my favourite. So small I often forget that I have them in my breast pocket. Thank You, again, Carson

Works, but Confusing to Use
compact is the word, and it is that. Compactness of features is a byproduct, and it took a while to learn and use them .When handing it to someone else who wasn't familiar with it, they were unable to figure out how to use it all all without a demonstration and instructions. Perhaps too much to expect from an inexpensive and compact product. Great for hiking, indoor events, so all in all a good value and fit to propose.

Very good, though not perfect.
Very good. It is not perfect. It has pincushion distortion and lower clarity at the perimeter of the view. Given that it is 7x, miniature size, and a very wide field of view, I could live with the imperfections. I looked very hard for a pair of binoculars with a wide view and compact size so I could hold it up for 2 hours for a soccer game, and I settled on this little marvel. In a sporting event, the action can move very fast across the field and this Mini is so light I can use it all game. It is bright compared with another miniature which had roof-prism. I have other pairs of larger 7x binoculars, which just don't have the peripheral view that this mini is providing. If I just ignore the imperfect peripheral area; this Mini is giving the same view as those other pairs I own. Adjustable eye cups will improve the Mini's already high useability.

Very good for the price, good for kids
We bought these (and the Carson Hornet) for my 2.5 year old so he doesn't feel left out when we go birding. He hasn't quite figured them out yet, and they're a smidge big for his face, but very easy for him to carry. He was a little disappointed they didn't have a neck strap like mom and dad's, but the wrist strap is probably safer for him anyway. I looked through them, and for the size and price I was really impressed with how well they work. Tons better than what I've seen in "kids binoculars," and I think they're going to hold up a lot better, too. For about twice the price, they are more than twice as good. I would definitely recommend these to anyone looking for a decent, inexpensive "starter" pair of binoculars. My fancy Nikons are still going to be my go-to for regular birding, but these were a great addition to our family. These ones are particularly small, so I might just keep them in purse for just-in-case birding!

Had to return
Wanted to like these! Small size and lightweight- unfortunately the plastic body of the left and right half were not aligned correctly. There is no way to focus them. Too bad. Looks like the optics would have been acceptable for the price point, but useless to have binoculars if you have to close one eye to use them! Returned.

5-star at twice the price
Great clarity, brightness and fov for $25. And it’s tiny. The claimed 490 ft fov at 1000 yards appears to be accurate and is a good bit wider than my 435 ft Nikon Monarch 7 8x30. The edges aren't sharp but it's far more useful to have a 490 ft fov with blurred edges than it is to have 375 ft fov that’s sharp to the edges. It weighs the same (4.5 oz) as my Opticron 8x25 T4 monocular and is easier on the eye(s).

Perfect for bird feeder identification.
I bought this for everyone in the family to watch/identify birds coming to our feeders, and it's perfect! We have a picture window in the living room overlooking a large deck, with 6 feeders around the deck perimeter. The feeders are not very far away, maybe 20 feet, but these binoculars allow us to see details on the birds that make identification a breeze. Our family of 6 ranges from 14 - 90 yrs old and we can all use them without much trouble. They are very small, lightweight and we store them on the fireplace mantle for easy access. Great product!

Carson Kalitesi.

Bought this for my 7 year old son but was so impressed I want to buy another for myself. Small and light weight with a great field of view. Good clarity and focus. So light weight and small you can take it anywhere without having to deal with the size of weight of the Nikon's. You can just leave it in a jacket pocket. Perfect gift for someone leaving for a cruise.

Bought these for my grandson because they are as small as binoculars designed for children but better made and cheaper. Have not tried the Carson's with him yet but I tried them against my Nikon and Zeiss 10x25s and, for the price, they do well. Not so good at far distant objects i.e. 700 metres+ but that's not a problem. Carson makes solid binoculars.

Feel, look everything is good. If I could give it more I would. They are compact so if you want something to look through without stop for more than 10min I would say get a bigger pair, but for watching an animal for 5min it’s quite good. Really good.
