Could I hang a hammock indoors if I lag these in studs?

Yes. They are extremely strong. I use them for securing cars on my trailer. They are also used in for hanging a heavy bag in the garage for working out. Make sure you secure them centered in the stud and you’ll be perfectly fine!

Would you trust them to tie down a Harley?

Your question is a legitimate one. If you are using a trailer I would have full confidence in using them to strap down a heavy motorcycle PROVIDING: the d-ring must be bolted to an integral part of the frame of the trailer, specifically the frame rail or the frame cross member with the correct size bolts. You can bolt through the floor boards into the cross members. But Do Not bolt these directly to a wooden floor board then expect them to hold a heavy load, that would not be the correct installation. I use the same d-rings on my car hauler trailer and regularly haul heavier loads than your Harley. Just be careful and use multiple tie downs. Good luck.
