Blade-Tech makes good stuff
Works great for what I use it for which is run and gun type stuff here at my home range. My P-mags (which is all I own) will work in them bullets forward or backwards. Retention is adjustable. Never had a mag to fall out. Tek Lok makes it easy to put it on or take it off my blade tech competition gun belt. I would say these are meant for speed. Sure they would be great as a competition mag pouch.

Awesome
It's bladetech, what else would you expect. It attaches to belt, holds steady, dosnt slide around easy, holds mags tight. Can't complain.

Mag carrier is awesome, tek lok sucks.
I have this on my vest and have used it for a few years now. I hate tek lok and greatly prefer the gun and flower backing plate, see link. https://www.amazon.com/GUN-FLOWER-Attachment-Enforcement-Military/dp/B0995LB29X?th=1&psc=1 Once you pair these together, you have a really nice stable platform.

Righty or Ambi - but still the “right” one to get.
Unboxing: Started off as a big conundrum on how to “unlock” them but intuitive once you know (first pic shows the lock at the bottom lifting up,then squeezing to lift up). Not sure why they are “righty” when the magazine fits both directions. The screw part of the holster might be in the rear for righty’s but for lefty, screws are forward. I tried the fitment on all type of the mags I own. No problem with Magpul, or coupled Magpuls, or the 20round mag or the 10 round mag that is back to back with another 10 rounder. Fit my grey Hexmags, as well as my red Duramags, and my 7.62x39 Duramags. I’m sure they will fit other brands but I don’t have and others to try. I’ll take these out to the desert soon to see if they hold up, but since they are well known brand I have little to be concerned about. Pricewise, you are probably pay for a little of name brand but they aren’t terribly priced. Retention- i used them out of the box, as is and they worked fine. Plenty of squeeze left in them if you need to hang upside down with them.

Blade Tech is the standard, tech lock if a must have.
Blade Tech makes good stuff, you know your getting quality when buying blade tech. I do IDPA, IPSC as well as many trips to Frontsight Nevada and it is clear in each venue that blade tech is the standard. Easily adjustable for good retention with no fuss getting the mag in and out. The tech clamp is my favorite, you can put on your belt and then put on the mag holder. The adjustment for height is also very good just make sure that when you take it off the small spacers don't fall out, I know some people who super glue it in place, a small dab will keep it in but still let you take it out if you get a thicker belt.

Top value for daily duty belt use!
This is on my Bianchi Accumold duty belt right now, securely and covertly holding a magpul gen3 20rd mag. Love it! Note, this SKU is a RIGHT SIDED, not Right Handed pouch: I am a lefty, wearing it on my right side, with the rounded front edges facing forward along with the bullets. Sure, it will fit a mag with bullets backwards, but that will take the rear magazine rib out of the rib channel, reducing the mag's overall security in the pouch... okay for the range I guess, but not for Duty. It works well with all my milspec aluminum mags, as well as my Gen2 and Gen3 Magpuls. The two adjustment screws do a good job of dialing in the tension I want on each mag-type and the rounded front edges do a good job of not catching on all the stuff that duty belt gear usually catches. Highly Recommend! This should be NTOA Reviewed and Approved!
