Every Christian must read this book in his lifetime, sooner or later. A pinnacle of Christian thoughts and Christian living (asides the Holy Bible). Read Andrew Murray's books alongside this. Both authors' works are deep and help you draw closer to God and better understand His Word.

I was given this book years ago and never liked it. It's a devotional, one reading per day, so I've picked at it on and off and always regarded Oswald as a bit of a flake. Sadly I have had to grow old before seeing the wisdom in this collection of writings. It's strong meat, it will challenge you but, if heeded, it will do you good. Take it like medicine and you will get better!
